Kept me on edge the whole time! I really like that you have to juggle peeping through the hole, recharging the batteries, and activating the devices. The stylized 3D art really lends itself well to such a genre and dev time constraint. The audio works really well, it conveys many details, most importantly how close you are to losing, which is a more interesting idea than a health bar.
Personally it was a bit too hard for me. A single mistake can cost you your run. Its a bit too easy to drop a battery instead of inserting it. I wish you could swap an empty and full battery without dropping one on the floor. It's also impossible to distinguish a charged and empty battery once they are on the floor.
I really like the audio and visual design! The tense and unsettling atmosphere is very effective, especially paired with the sense of urgency brought on by the fun battery-managing gameplay.
Some feedback/suggestions: I think that the game could be slightly easier at the beginning, but also more difficult later on. An additional challenge I think would be interesting to add to this game would be having occasional "fake deliveries", which the player needs to use the computer appliance to determine whether to trust the delivery or not.
Overall I think your game executed the feeling of paranoia and the jam theme really well. Great work on the game!
This game has a fantastic atmosphere. The panic-inducing music and eerie graphics really get your heart racing.
Cool atmosphere!
Nice game, keep it up!
(Our game is still a bit short on ratings, so if you've got a sec to leave one we'd really appreciate it :D)
The gameplay made this so tense and with the sound design really scary! Also loved the aspect ratio for the screen and the shader that made the dots for the screen!
For me the game was really difficult. I got almost always overwhelmed if I had to pull a fire alarm and the use lights + TV. My best was 2 fire alarms and around 2 minutes before I ran out off batteries. I gave up for now but will add this to my backlog so I can try to finish a run once rating is over. Looking forward to that!
Cool game! Love the eerie atmosphere!
gameplay and graphics are sweet. the atmosphere was chilling! I was panicking so much when they are knocking on the door and the music intensifies. I suck at these games and died a few times before giving up lol. overall really cool, this is the type of game I Wishlist right away on steam :) so well done.
i love these types of games, the eerie vibes im getting and all that
and yall made this perfect its really good
I'm in love with the way u made the game look I strive to be like u, insanely good visuals
Love the eerie art style, the audio and visuals goes really well with each other. Got a good scare out of me +1
I love the dithering, and the atmosphere you have built is great!
Very atmospheric, awesome vibe!
Love the retro-dithering! Got a good scare out of me.
Excellent entry, the audio and visuals are the perfect fit for what you're going for.
I'm not sure if I used the alarm properly however. I guess it's supposed to allow you to pick up your order safely ? The porch light and TV were perfectly clear but the point of the alarm eluded me.
My friend, the concept is straight out of Mike Klubnika's latest game! That's something I huge respect and appreciate. The visuals are totally my vibe too - I really enjoyed it. Keep it up!
I liked the mechanics and the style. very cool
Really good job so far! little vibes avec FNAF , love it ! good point on art !
What a gorgeous style, you cooked with the visuals! This is a game I could sink a good amount of time into trying to get good, would love to see you take this further.
