Nice game! I liked the story and played both paths but i didn't get what to do in the end after the run section

Submitted

That just one of the 3 endings it's just a short game for now

Submitted

/jam/brackeys-16/rate/4949798 i'll play yours

Submitted

Cute game! it was fun figuring out whos the monster and was quit a challenge with the time limit. my only problem was that the sinking platforms made you sink as well so you couldn't run on them

Submitted

Very fun puzzle! the first was tough but then i got the idea. super good game overall!

Submitted

you can rate mine :)

Submitted

Nice but very hard game! i had to use 2x time cheats to be able to win

Submitted(+1)

thank you :)

It's indeed hard, but I call it a skill issue ;)

Submitted

can't disagree with that

Submitted(+1)

Rated your game too. Was very nice!! I love the visuals, some of the best that I've seen in this game jam, sound too!

Concept wasn't necessarily innovative (as in i've seen many people do this) but I blame the theme for this, didn't make that much room for creativity haha (also W joke in the "how does it fit the theme" lol).

Overall great :)

heyy can you please rate mine: https://bonkwu.itch.io/loomy-date

Love the artstyle! i liked the game but some dialogue options were a bit misleading because of the small button. overall great game!

Aprreciate it!

Very good gameplay loop! The game is super fun and it has very good replay potential! I did a few runs and they were amazing.

The only problem is that you have to download it and cant play it from the browser. it limits the amount of people who will actually play

Submitted

Thanks for playing and giving a review! We added web support as you said it was blocking us to reach more players.

Super cute game! a bit unfinished but a lot of potential for a great puzzle game!

Here are the issues I noticed:

The collision with walls and objects is a bit sticky so when you walk against a wall if you look towards it you stop

There was no collision for some objects in the maintenance room and break room

Submitted

it was like a movie scenario in to a video game! Somehow is my highest rated game till now on the jam, it just left me with a good feeling!

Here is my game prototype, you can try it if you want /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4943053

cool game! nice atmosphere and sfx!

But I'm telling again that from the little experience I have, I see that most web games get 4-5X rates then download only games. Thats why i try to fit my game to be playable on the web

heyhey! =)

We will rate yours!

Try our game Deep Night! A live browser 4X strategy MMO of diplomacy and betrayal. Real players, a persistent galaxy, no download.

Submitted

Its so impressive that you managed to make a game of this scale in such a short time! Unfortunately I'm not such a MMO guy so I cant appreciate this game for what it is.  It looks like a very good game even though I didn't get to enjoy it to the fullest and I hope the right audience will find this game!

Submitted

Appreciate that!

Submitted

Yoo pls check out my game too!
I'll check yours out too!

Hi, playing your game now I'll leave a review when I finish it, heres mine, /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4951807

Loved the art! The animations are super clean and look super cool! My only problem with it was that there was too much dialogue and it felt like every time you try to actually play the game you stumble into a wall of text you have to skip to get to the juice of the game. overall pretty good!

Also, how did you make the play button say "Run Epic-ness"? I tried to do something similar but couldn't

Submitted

Thanks! Yeah the only reason there's that much dialogue is to make it absolutely clear to the player what they should do, which I didn't really know how to do otherwise. The run epic-ness was something in itch, when you create the game in the edit game section, it says something like: "what should this project be refered to as".

Submitted(+1)

Thx for the info! I think that the best way to make the player know what to do is to show or imply it rather then just saying it. like when you need to free all of the slimes, you can add a ui element that says "friends freed 0/3" or use the slideshow at the start to imply it like you did because the player doesn't need clear directions all the time on what to do, they can figure it out themselves

Submitted(+1)

Thanks for the advice, because I kind of hated playtesting my own game because of the dialogue lol, so I definitely needed to figure out how  to show information better.  I'll 100% use more visual cues in future projects, so thanks again!

Really cool game! I liked the doppelganger vibe and the neat scanner. The only thing that bothered me was that in the cashier the bills were a bit hard to read and its a bit confusing at the start like you said. Very good game!
