Really cool little narrative experiment. I liked the mood a lot and the voice acting surprised me in a good way. I ended up getting one of the distrust endings after second guessing every room, and the simple button setup actually made the whole thing feel more tense than it should. Some parts dragged a bit and a few lines repeated, but the atmosphere carried it and I enjoyed seeing where each choice pushed me. Good work from the dev. (pls play my game)

This fits well, i have trust issues after this, the narrator is a bit boring tbh

Developer

Sorry about the narrator XD

It's a cool game with an interesting concept. I got the Zealot ending first and then the Complicit ending twice, and I'd love to discover all the endings, but unfortunately, the game becomes a bit monotonous. I think it's very good for one playthrough, but the psychedelic atmosphere and the dialogue lines, which are always the same, make me not really want to play it again, even though the number of endings is encouraging. The voice acting is definitely a plus, it's quite refreshing, and the overall way the game was written really left me with no idea which answers were "right" and which were "wrong," even on my third playthrough! I'd say the game is actually a bit positively hypnotic! Nice game, good job! β™₯

Really glad you've enjoyed it, and thank you for the feedback <3

I got the "Wreckage" ending. I trusted everything the first time. Then got reset by the hesitation room. Then I think a voiceline bugged so every room just said "You fell in the trap I made you...". I tried to remember what each room was and instead distrusted most things this time. Then I got past the hesitation room to the "yes" "no" room. Had no idea what the context was because of the glitched voiceline, so went yes. Despite that, still a fun game. Mysterious and interesting atmosphere. I liked the voice acting. Good job!

I got the Liberated ending. Wish the clock would be shorter or run out faster,  waiting was a bit long. Was surprised by a voiceover!

Developer(+1)

Oh, glad you got the liberated ending, it's my favorite and in someway the WIN ending as there is an internal hidden score which triggers the endings, Liberated is the highest score ending, good job on that ✨

Hope the voiceover surprised you in a good way πŸ˜…, I had to shorten the intro sequence due the lack of time it sure was not ultimately intended to jump in voice first πŸ˜‚.

Thanks for playing the game ✨

I love this game! Kinda reminds me of "Grey box testing" by Sam Hogan. I got the Paralyzed (AFK) ending

Developer

I need to check "Grey box testing", I remember seeing some game on YouTube shorts about a game with a narrator that keep telling the player what to do maybe this is the same game, idk.

So glad you liked my game ✨

What a spiritual game, I ended up with the complicit ending . I still don't trust him.

You know I had a very similar idea to this at the start but I'm glad I went a different direction because it would not have been as good as what you came up with.

Developer

I am sure yours would be as good even better thanks for your comment though it made me happy πŸ˜„

Cool game! But gotta be honest - after some time I got a little bored and just listening to the voice and pressing buttons after 10min of gameplay didnt seem that fun to me haha. I enjoyed the concept tho. Good job!

Developer

I am glad you gave it a try any ways, I know it lacked on some parts but it definitely needed more work, unfortunately I had only one and half days to work on it πŸ˜…

I really enjoyed this one! Such a simple one with a couple buttons but yet it kept me hooked! Love the concept.

Developer

I am glad you have enjoyed it, I wanted to lock myself in very simple interaction mechanic to focus more on the narrative as a change πŸ˜„

Honestly pretty nice, got told to press buttons at the beginning, decided not to trust it and just watched the timer go down. Lmao

Developer

That's is cool! That was definitely the fun of the game you get to follow your own guts and decide what to do βœ¨πŸ˜„

i got the complicit ending! cool idea. fully voice acting it is a super nice touch nice job :)

Developer

This my first time doin a narrative heavy game, and got bored listening to my voice towards the end too πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Apparently I'm a very complicit person, learning new things about myself this game jam. Great atmosphere and vibe! I wonder if the room should've been dark and the faint lighting of the buttons, cameras, etc. would give it an even more sinister undertone? Just a thought, maybe this is perfect!

Submitted(+1)

woah, great mood! I don't know if it was intended, but after I got sent back to the start once, I chose a different option than my first run: Then every new room it would repeat the same dialogue, something about choosing the same answers than before, over and over.

Still, I'm really glad I stumbled into it! Great work!

the voice acting is so well done lmao i realy like it, but the way u interpreted the theme leave a bit to be desired, i get the idea but the way you executed it is a bit lacking u had so much potential, either way u did a good job!

Developer

Oh, I really didn't think I did good with my voice acting, I am really glad you liked it, it was my first time doing something like this,
