How does the game fit the theme?
Wizzlers can lie about what they know or who is responsible.
Figure out who is lying and who is telling the truth using the rules and clues
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

game bricked for me on a black screen and couldnt get far, but damn this is the best game visually i played here and the best ive played in a long while, well done
Glad you enjoyed it, sorry to hear you had a crash.
There's a slow load on some of the black screens so hopefully it was just that... When did it happen and what browser were you using?
i was using chrome and it happened on almost every transition
That's odd, no one else has mentioned it and I'm not having the same issue with my Chrome, I'll mention it to our lead programmer... Might be a bit late to indentify/fix now but thanks for letting us know!
It sounds like an issue on my end so dont bother, great stuff anyways
Thank you! Hopefully you get a chance to give it another try 🙂
This is insanely creative and polished. I love the art!
This one is a blast! You guys did so much! Awesome work.
This game is just awesome!!
The art is so pretty and every aspect of the game was so fun.
You can't even imagine how happy i was when i saw the bonus level!!
(6 and 7 were kinda slow tho, no spell really matched so yeah)
My only suggestion would be to add a submit button, the "rule out" light to be only for tracking who you believe it's not guilty. After deciding for sure, press a button and select the guilty one.
And add more levels maybe :)
Best of luck !
i believe this one should win, its the best game ive played yet!!!
i love it so much i hope you continue making levels
this is so polished!! the art and audio are all so wonderful and its a joy to play :D the little wizzlers are so cute;; id buy a plushie
Wow! The game looks great and immediately caught my attention. I really liked the art style and character designs. Talking to the characters and connecting everything they said to figure out who was lying and who the culprit was was a lot of fun. The minigames for unlocking extra clues also add some nice variety, so it’s not just about reading dialogue. It’s easy to understand, but still keeps you thinking and second-guessing everyone. Great game!
Wow. The level of polish is amazing. Very neat detail to have the tutorials permanently on the walls. Definetely one of the best games of the jam.
Wow that's one of the best games I've played so far, well done !
As said by others, the art-style is really good AND well put to life, your game is extremely polished and looks professional. The gameplay is original and fun, the theme fits very well.
I was annoyed sometimes as my mouse wasn't detected properly to change between the three screens but it's a very minor thing.
The torture made me sad :'( But sorting lies/truths was fun and the ending made me smile a lot :p
Great presentation and great gameplay! Really like the comic style! I only wished the torturing mechanic was more involved (I mean it in a non sadistic way ofc!!). Like, maybe you also had to logically figure out what makes a wizzler talk, instead of brute forcing.
Had a blast though, the idea and animations are very well done. Congrats!
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed it. Definitely wanted to game-ify some of the side games more but just didn't have time unfortunately!
Thanks! For the torture, do you mean something on top of finding the right spell that has the most features in common with a wizzler? Normally finding the right spell makes the gauge fill up super quickly while other spells can take quite a bit more time
It could be! What I felt during game, and meant by "brute forcing", was that it didn't matter which spell I used. There was no time pressure, nor resource management. So any spell would get the same job done. The difference would just be just a few more clicks or a few more seconds. I also remember thinking if it was really worth it to waste time flipping the book looking for the right spell rather than just picking the first one and just spam it.
Ok, I replayed it and in fact there are some spells who don't do absolutely anything to them really, maybe I was lucky in my first try
Really great work! The game feels surprisingly polished for a jam entry — I really enjoyed the visuals, the minigames, and the overall presentation. Also, huge respect for the itch.io page design! You can tell you put effort not only into the game itself, but also into how you presented it. Little things like that really make a project stand out :)
This is by far the best game I have played in the jam so far. The art is soo good, and the puzzles are really well made. I usually try to give an aspect that can be improved, but I just can't with this one. Great job!
TYSM! Really glad you enjoyed it, your game was awesome too!
Amazing! I enjoyed every bit of this game, from playing minigames on the Wizboy to choosing a spell to torture a Wizzler. Great visuals and sound, well done!
Hi, I find the game really polished and the visuals look great. Well done.
Really liked the idea that in order to get a clue you have to play the minigame. Minigames itself were unique compared to the main gameplay. The game idea fits perfectly for the theme.
The artstyle is just wow. Very good art. The game is very well done!
Thanks! Really glad you liked it. Making the art was really fun!
