How does the game fit the theme?
Monkey Daycare is an observation and strategy game where you manage enclosures full of mischievous monkeys. Unfortunately, these monkeys do not behave.
They steal supplies, start fights and sabotage the daycare constantly, and every monkey has a different level of trustworthiness.
When an incident occurs, you must study their accusations, remember their behaviour and decide who is telling the truth.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The game was made in Unity and uses TextMesh Pro, and third-party fonts. All game-specific programming, artwork, animation, music and sound effects were created by the team during the jam.

This is a really solid game all around. The animations are funny and the sounds are great. The little intro song cracked me up and launching monkeys into the zoolag is pretty funny. It's like a super speed tomagatchi, very fun.
Really goofy game, but it was fun.

It's true you're a team of four, but wow, the visuals and animation are amazing; that's what's blown me away the most. A really unique approach with the Trust no one as well, great game.

This game deserves to win the jam! 10/10! I love launching monkeys to the zoolauge it feels so juicy! Launching monkeys to the zoolauge kinda reminds me of Garmadon from the Lego Ninjago Movie launching all of his general number ones! 10/10!
The art asethetic for this game is so charming! Love the title screen! The animations are gorgeous and so silly and charming. Love the UI design, but I wish there was clicky or clacky button sounds cause it feels like it should make some noise. I like the little monkey, but was a bit confused what the big mess they were refering to was. In the end I was guessing the culprit based on the most trustworthy monkey and got it most of the time. Love the background design a lot. Monkey canon animation was amazing too. Overall a very beautiful game!

really REALLLY love the artsyle for this game! its sooo polished, the sound design is also REALLY good.
the gameplay can get you stuck in the game for a while, im really glad i got to play this nearly flawless game!

I love this game so much, very polished! I love the cutscene for sending a monkey to the zoolag. All of the animations are hilarious and the music is amazing! Great job, I'm glad I got to play this one!
the lineup is the best bit, weighing a 90 percent witness against a 60 percent one is a proper decision. lovely hand painted art too, and the console reads clear at a glance. really solid, got a good laugh on the cutscene
For a quick jam, I think we balanced it pretty well! You can also tell who did it by checking the cameras and seeing who is crying in one of the rooms! Crying from GUILT!
