The player has to avoid falling into traps which seem to be right paths to follow. They also have to avoid obstacles that come out of the blue to continue their journey.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Code and logo were made from scratch, everything else was found on the internet (Check credits in-game)

There is something really nice about the pink clouds. Just adds a really nice look to the game. The game is a torture simulator, but that frustration is what makes you keep on trying. Great job!

nice rage platformer idea with a clean vibe. the theme fits perfectly since you cannot trust anything, not even the first jump. the music is great and the skybox looks beautiful. the early difficulty spike is rough though and a lot of players got stuck right away. a clearer camera angle or some kind of sneak option would make the jumps feel more fair. still a fun concept with a strong identity. (pls play my game)

great idea, for sure fit the Theme, for me it was quite hard to properly jump on platforms because when Im   in "jump mode" it is difficult to see what happen with platforms (dissapear or fly down ?) maybe different camera angle will be helpful, anyway good game

Hey nice work! The game is very intentionally frustrating, but it builds that drive to beat it. The music was very pleasant to listen, great job! Just needs a bit of work on the controls.

Not a huge fan of ragebait games. This one is a bit too hard for a jam but a good execution is a good execution. Well done ;)

I liked the first section, a good take on these kinds of platformers. I stopped playing after the first checkpoint where it was multiple sets of three platforms to jump to  with only one having a collision box. It's fun baiting out traps in these kinds of games but random chance deaths after a really precise platforming section was too frustrating for me. The music and visuals were good, especially the skybox.

Don’t even trust the dev haha, nice. We actually wanted to make something like that at first too. But the second jump was impossible. I died like 30 times before I gave up. Love the death counter though!

I think a sneak button similar to Minecraft could be a nice addition, so you can move more safely on a platform you’ve already managed to reach.

Definitely a frustrating game to play haha - My only suggestion would be some sort of killcam or way to see how you died. Sometimes I felt like I died for no reason

Developer(+1)

ooh that's a nice idea! thanks for playing c:

Oh man... Cool concept but after 49 deaths on first jump I gave up lol

Submitted(+1)

Wasn't able to get past the first jump, but the music is great aesthetics are nice you guys have an actual pause menu :^) and the theme fits super well!!

Submitted(+1)

I wish I could pass the first jump :))) after 29 Deaths

This game beat me up just as much as Jump King

that is tough man, gave up after like 30 lives :D

fun concept tho, i'd recommend to keep it a bit more forgiving in the beginning to get people into it.

also the soundtrack slaps.

Developer

Hey! thanks for giving it a go, maybe I over did it with that first section haha

Submitted

I can't get past the second jump... ):

Developer(+1)

I think I’ll be uploading a tweak for that, maybe I over did it hehe

Kaizo games fit this theme sooo well

3d platforming makes it even harder to notice when something barrels at u at high speed xD
