How does the game fit the theme?
As a will executor who needs to divide big fortune, the family throws insults and lies to get the most amount of wealth and exhaust you to give into their demands. You need to stay vigilant and only listen to good reasons for part of inheritance.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The SFX were randomly created by clicking on websites mentioned in desc and background music was requested from a musician. Also fonts were from Google Fonts

Great game please rate my game
Not the gameplay I expected after reading the premise but it actually works quite well! The ending bit was a bit confusing since I don't think there was a way to "learn" any character names or who said what, so I just guessed based on the names and their position in list. Still, a cool little game.
Luckily this is is fixed in the newest version but we can't upload it yet until the vote has ended. Thank you so much for playing!
Really cool idea, I think it's super creative. Wasn't expecting the quiz at the end, but I managed to pull through :D
Great job on the visuals, it feels coherent and is well made, the music fits the ambiance, great job on this entry !
I didn't realize that I will be asked to fill a form afterwards and didn't really pay attention to the texts (just dodged them). At the form stage I just filled it with values (ascending by one after each 2 questions) and won lmao. Overall I really liked the artstyle of the game. The camera transitions were also very smooth. Good job on the game!
The idea for the game works well for the theme. like the rest of the comments the submit button wasn't working for some reason on my side well. (Even after a replay) but this is overall a good game
the "subit " button didn't work for me but the games art was great. And I will tell you dont be the one to tell your family their not getting the money
Nice idea well executed. Only issue I had was with the submission and trying to figure out who is who.
Unique, I liked it.
The art is super cute
For me it didn't work to submit at the end of the game and the button has a typo i think.
Good job!
I like the concept of dodging a word. I think this game is deserved much attention because this is pretty creative game
Super nice job with the music and everything but I honestly fell in love with the screen transition lol. Would love to see a little sneak peek of how you pulled that off so smooth . Amazing job!
We use Godot so this is what the level looks like with the characters always looking at the player. I use the build in lerp function to smoothly move from one rotation to the other rotation.
Lerp takes: where you are, where you want to go, and then at what speed.
Ohhh I didnt realize it was 3D lol. Really smart move. I thought it was some crazy screen transition but rotating the room and keeping the characters facing the player is such a cool trick. Thanks for showing the code too, definitely gonna try something like this in Love2D even tho its not really 3D lol Gonna give you a follow too. If you ever need someone to playtest a game just hit me up, always good to have more people around to test stuff and thx have a nice day .
awesome! incredible pull in the gamejam. love to see you folks work together
The game narrative was a great way to highlights those character's lives, I liked the plot, we don't talk enough about these subjects, hat off to you guys, great job !!! Nice visuals as well ~
The narrative concept and art style are fantastic—turning bullet-hell mechanics into collecting words to piecemeal a story is super creative! The music and overall page presentation look super clean.
A few tweaks would really take it to the next level:
- Ending clarity: Adding better feedback when pressing submit on the final form so players know their choices registered.
- Quality of life: A notebook or journal UI to review collected phrases, plus character name tags during dialogue swaps.
- Difficulty/Readability: Slightly larger text options and making the dodging mechanics a bit more challenging.
Awesome job pulling off such a unique concept under jam pressure! Mind giving our project a try when you have a moment? We'd love your feedback: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
The gameplay was nice, I did have fun!. Your art and the presentation of game page is really nice! 9/10. Thanks for your hard work 👏🏻🥂
not sth i expected at all, but i had fun. I feel like the dodging could be a bit harder maybe bacause it was really easy to dodge. also, after finishing, the submit button didn't work for me somehow
The narrative framing is an interesting take on the theme, it's like a bullet hell but with words, and you're collecting instead of shooting. The art is cool. If you added some more UI elements like names of the characters for when it switches to them and option to make the words bigger and readable, and also having like a notebook or something to retain the information gathered instead of relying on memory, then it would have made for a cohesive experience. Still, I dig the concept of the whole thing.
great artstyle, and cute gameplay, just got a little lost at the end, but i understand the issues with development in jams like these.
Great art and music! The idea is quite fun and original! The ending was a bit confusing though.
Thank you so much. There was sadly not enough time to have proper feedback in the ending but it gives you the change to divide the inheritance over the different characters based on the reasons you collected through out the game
the game idea is crazy good nice work!
