How does the game fit the theme?
The game is based on the idea of a glitch where the player cannot always trust what they see or hear. During the game, the UI and audio may give different information. Sometimes the UI tells the truth while the audio gives the wrong information, and sometimes the audio is correct while the UI is wrong.
The player must pay attention and decide which information to trust before choosing a platform. As the game continues, these changes make the player feel confused and uncertain. This makes the glitch mechanic an important part of the gameplay and connects directly to the theme.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Some of the code and assets were not made completely from scratch during the jam. I used existing resources and adapted them to fit the game. The main gameplay mechanics, design, UI, and overall game experience were developed and put together by me during the jam.

Fun game and concept. Platforming felt a bit glitchy at times, but that's the name of the game I guess haha. Glitch sound effect and voice were really nice add-on

A platformer where you can't trust the platforms! I love the gameplay it just lacks a little in the visuals department. Great job for a solo game!

I like the idea, it was so fun and satisfying! sliding is a bit annoying but in a nice way adds to difficulty!:)))
Also the glith effects on text and particle effect when sliding was cool!

It's a great game; you can simply stay on the same platform for a long time, which makes the game quite easy, and the camera system with the time lag is really good.

Great game—keep developing it. I was able to stick to the platform, and it never disappeared. But it's a great game that just needs some platform improvements.
Thank you 😊 the platform not disappear because that time that platform was safe….. Every 10 sec the rule change randomly….. that’s why your platform not disappear 🫠
your game is good, but I really found a certain platform that I got stuck on and stayed on for a long time until I slipped and fell off it.

At first I thought the game was bugged. I found out that the message and the audio was meant to contradict each other. Even with the timer giving you a heads up when a change is gonna happen, it still felt unpredictable and that nothing could be trusted. It fits the theme very well but ends up feeling very luck based.

Its a nice game. I dont really like the player sliding off the platforms. Idk if its intentional or not but its really annoying. Also, its too predictable for "trust no one" cuz theres a fixed timer on when changes happen. "trust no one" in a platformer like this should be very unpredictable imo. Also theres a bug where you stick to walls by moving into them and its really annoying. Also, personally, i would add a ground slam mechanic or make you fall faster when holding down. That is just personal preference though. Good game

Cool game! High score was 65. It's got a nice risk/reward system with trying to move fast once you know the safe color but only able to see one platform ahead.

I like the concept, it would have been cool to have more variation to the platforms and what the mechanics are, but I guess it's alredy quite tricky with not being able to trust the text or the voice.

Agreed on the comment below with respawns. Also if the rules change mid-air, it would be good if there was a way to re-direct.
