Very fun game! Had a slight issue where the hitbox  of the attack could push an enemy up and towards you at the top of your attack hitbox. Otherwise, fun spin on Vampire Survivor!

This is a really amazing game so much fun! Great job!

Developer

Thanks!

Man, this game is so cool haha. It took me a second to understand that the black slash was me attacking, and I am so bad at timing it, but I love how it works, randomizing the problems is such a great idea. It's crazy that you made this on your own, congrats!

Developer

Thank you!

I love the "Trust no.." aspect of the game, it makes it that much more enjoyable! :D Super fun game!

I did get a bug though, one time when I had a second orb that was orbiting around me, it just stayed in one place, not following me. It was very odd, but it fixed itself!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I think that the orb freezed because you probably had "Trust No Engineer" which freezes abilities (I could be mistaken, though)

Submitted(+1)

Ooooh, yeah maybe!! In that case, thats pretty cool. The fact that it did come back later means its def prolly that!

Submitted(+1)

bro you a genius. Title music is so catchy there is a tune hidden in there that reminds me of a song but couldn't figure out what song it was. Freaking genius with making the attacks automatic and reversing the controls. All around beautifully mechanically designed game . Mechanically this is amazing. This can definetly grow

Developer

Thank you so much!

Enjoyable survivors like! My one thought was that psychiatrist easily the worst of the randomizers as it just makes the movement unintuitive and, at least for me, was less fun and interesting than some of the other modes. Otherwise great game! One of my favs to play of the jam so far :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I think that psychiatrist is a lot more subjective than most of the other mechanics - when I had some friends playtest, one thought it was terrible and one thought it was great XD

Nice game! Fun twist on a survivors-like game. The modifiers really keep you on your toes. Once two start happening at once it gets rough, then three makes it even harder. I think some way of healing might be nice, as well as a faster walk speed or way to upgrade speed. But it's really good! I kind of just want to keep playing lol.

Developer

Thank you! I realized when play-testing that there needed to be some way to heal, but I was scared to make the game too easy, so I added a heal to the sniper (which was underpowered before then). It is slow, but substantial, because I still wanted the player on their toes all the time XD. I tried to balance the whole thing to be challenging, but not offputtingly hard, but I think I made it just a bit too difficult T_T

The twist to the vampire survivors formula here is rly clever! And I was surprised to see multiple effects at the same time. The best part was seing Trust no one at the end and I litteraly new that I needed to run away asap
Great job on that game :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I went back and forth on whether or not to include Trust No One at the end, so I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

This is a Really innovative and interesting idea. The execution was done well too. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks!

Cool game, but too hard for me! Love the vibe and additcing game loop. Tho i couldnt see my cursor, so it was super hart to click play haha :D

Developer

Thanks! I struggled a bit with balance, but ended up going for a more chaotic (and therefore harder) vibe, so I'm sorry about that T_T

peak! loved the gameplay and random events, got ruined by reversed controls xdd

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The reversed controls are hellish XD

Submitted(+1)

Awesome gameplay and abilities, but kinda feel that the Astronomer debuff is a bit too op imo, besides that, awesome work!

Developer

Thanks! I do agree that astronomer can be a way too strong, but it also depends on what abilities you have. If you get all three drones and Mechanic (drones become hostile), then you're cooked just as much as having a ton of cosmic abilities and Astronomer. It was intended to make the player feel like they couldn't rely on (or, trust *wink wink*) just one type of ability and they had to branch out, although I don't know how well that came across 😅

Such an interesting take on the theme, and those effects... oh wow haha 😄 Everything was great!

Developer

Thank you!

I really liked the fact that game gets harder not only by increased amount of enemies but the debuffs get stacked. At first I thought damn the reversed controls is annoying and then I  get it with hostile drones and enemies healing at the same time :DD

This is an interesting take on the survivors like game.  Nice job!

Developer

Thank you!

Really good game. The adversary effect every 30s fits perfectly with the theme.

The drones would have a better feel if you got to see them more, as my attack and suppression drones just got stuck on some enemies miles away from me, and every so often I would walk past them, slowing 5 green enemies while everyone else is purple ;p

The annoying thing was enemies getting knockback against each other, causing them to be pushed into me, but intended or not, it made me not trust my weapons' knockback at all, as they were the thing that killed me the most.

Overall, very solid entry for a jam :3

Developer

Thanks! I definitely didn't spend enough time fine-tuning some of the targeting mechanics (the drones, the tractor beam, etc), and by the time I realized, it was already too late T_T. Glad you enjoyed it though!

Submitted(+1)

I wasnt to sure on how I felt about how it fit into theme...

UNTIL I GOT THE EFFECT WHERE MY DRONES TURNED ON ME
was not expecting this super fun game to say you did this all by yourself you should be very proud

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

i nearly died when my controls got reversed then died after they went back to normal, rea;;y good game, good use of the theme too

Developer

Thanks!

Submitted(+1)

Really fun! I don't usually care much for the survivors trope anymore, but this was a really unique spin on it! Well done!

Developer

Thanks! I know it's definitely overdone, but I still really like survivors games, so it was fun to make :D

Submitted(+1)

AAAA i loved the game !! The soundtrack is amazing and I liked how addicting the leveling up got, congrats <3

Developer(+1)

Thank you! The game is really addictive; I lost a good amount of development time just playing it XD

Submitted(+1)

The music was great!
The celestial abilities were my favourite, then the game made them heal enemies and suddenlyI was fucked 😭
Good game!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! The celestial abilities were super fun to make because they could be a little overpowered but balanced out by Astronomer, so I'm glad you liked them
