How does the game fit the theme?
Another way to read "Trust no one" is "Trust №1". In this game, only Slime №1 is speaking the truth. You have to deduce which of the other slimes speaks the truth and figure out who holds the coin.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Initial code was written by following Brackeys Godot tutorial. The rest of the code was written from scratch.
Most assets come from the same youtube tutorial, but I created some sprites and animations myself with asperite (coin slot / hearts / attack animation)
How many people worked on the game?1

I had fun playing your game. I can really see this becoming a bigger project. Good job!
Try my game if you want :)
Fun alternate interpretation of Trust No One! A mix of platforming and puzzling, what's not to like! Always fun. Job well done!!
Very fun!! Such a cool concept. Love how you added so many elements. Especially player keeps learning through each levels.

Very nostalgic! Reminded playing 8bit games back in 2000s. I love the style, music, the extra paths to receive extra hints. And that was cool to allow running on the water at the end..with an unexpected twist at the very edge :D
Ohhhh man, this brings so many memories… That Brackey tutorial was one of my first experiences with Godot! Fun time %)
The game is ok, but you should consider adding a checkpoint, or it can be frustrating to try a replay from the start.
Thanks for the suggestion. Makes a lot of sense! It was on my list, but I decided to give the player 3 hearts instead. It's not really a replayable game, so I thought it would be more interesting to challenge the player to complete it in the first run. Maybe I should have added a message at the start to motivate the player that they only have one shot at completing the game.
If I would make more than 5 puzzles, I think I would get rid of the hearts and work with a checkpoint per level instead.
This is a nice little deduction game. Good job.
I really like the game. You did a really good job with it!
Fun little deduction game! Props to you for using the Brackeys assets!
fun game! I liked the take and understand why you made it a platformer - but in this case the platformer mechanics weren't really used for the core mechanic of the game. I would have been cool to try implement more of a platformers features (like the cave) in more of the levels
Reallllyy fun game. The puzzles were hard but fair. I love the concept!
A great throwback to the Brackeys tutorial, and a quite fun twist!
very fun and simple i loved talking to all the slimes to know which had the coin . i loved the truth and lie cave level
