I like the idea of this game, big fan of puzzles and witchy things so id be keen to try it out if you guys finish it! but i wasnt able to interact with much as it currently is :( Will look out for an update in the future if you finish it!
The first thing I noticed was the book written in cursive. I was able to read some of what's written. I would highly recommend creating a separate screen-space UI to give the player an option to read the text without cursive writing. I was able to interact with various items but I feel like the left mouse button doesn't really do anything for me. Even when using the computer, I wasn't able to interact with it.
Visuals of the objects look good enough though.
Artist here, thank you! I knew by day 4 I wasn't going to be able to get these assets to the degree I wanted them to be so I tried my best hahaha
Of course I read the comments, and of course I’m here to give you a high five. I’m having the same problem with movement. Btw, as someone who has only recently tried their hand at 3D, I look at your game, admire the assets, and just think, “Hmm... how did they even make this?”
Artist here, thank you so much I really appreciate your kind words! I had quite a hand full of other assets I made that didn't end up making it into the game but I'm glad what you did see was enjoyable!
I had some issues getting controls to take when I loaded the page (used ctrl+R to try to reload but it lets the MKB take over then without having to reload anyways).
That is our bad we were in a rush to get a web export working, turns out you need to read the Godot docs for exporting for web which tell you need to manually handle mouse locking. But now not only do we know how to do it but we also did it!
I saw the note on your game page about scope creep and intending to work on this further, but is there currently supposed to be any actual game functionality? The game loads and I can use WASD to move, but there don't seem to be any camera controls or ways to interact with any items to do anything.
There is its just the web build is cooked and does not lock the mouse correctly sorry, I plan to release a web build fix tomorrow along with native builds
It has been fixed sorry for the poor user exprince
I think something is broken in your web build. The game runs but never captured the mouse, and I didn't find any other camera controls.
we are working on fixing it we hope you give it another chance when we upload a fix soon in a bit
I look forward to it. :)
Your comment made me gather the coder Qi to get everything fixed! so enjoy when you want or not im not a game cop.
