whoa! This is crazy for a game made in1 WEEK. Amazing work, keep it up!
This is so impressive and the presentation is amazing! This really feels like a fully fleshed-out game. I don't have any notes whatsoever. The art is beautiful and the deduction is fair and fun. Good job!
I MUST SAY THIS RIGHT AWAY… the presentation is off the chart here!
Secondly… is there something wrong with me because i spent more time Roasting and Toasting the poor creatures over 7 minutes??
GOT TO GET MYSELF Checked for that reason alone…
Absolutely incredible and ridiculously addictive!!
This is easily the most polished and content-rich game I've played in the jam so far. The art is gorgeous, the gameplay is unique, and honestly, everything about it is just fantastic!
I would genuinely pay for this on Steam if you ever expanded it with more levels. For a game jam project made in just ONE WEEK, with this already feeling like such a complete demo, it's absolutely mind-blowing!!
I really, really admire the creativity and ideas behind this game. I have no idea how much time I spent on it, but I ended up playing through all seven levels XD. I also loved how the ending tied the game back into real life. That was such a fun touch!
This was an incredibly satisfying game from start to finish. Amazing work!!
Phenomenal! It is really well made. One can see that your team worked well together.
Even the itch io page design is exceptional well made.
I have nothing to complain, awesome job you guys!
One of the most polished game in this jam Im sure.
Great team work !!! loved it
very well polished game. Insane this was made during a one week jam. Really loved the artstyle and atmosphere.
This was amazing! What a well rounded game from art to puzzle design to writing to music. My only complaint is that the torture thing isn't all that fun. I wasn't super patient flipping through the pages. It made me want to not interrogate them all so I didn't have the patience to finish the bonus puzzles. Maybe if it was physics based like how throwing them around is, it would be much more enjoyable. I'm thinking Little Inferno style fire spread or some other physics sandbox type. But besides that, overall I'm blown away! Good job to your team! This looks like an actual finished game. The attention to detail to everything was so impressive. Even the game page is well designed. The foreshadowing with "wizboy" is clever too haha
This one is incredibly polished, I'm super impressed! I can see this expanding out more into more complicated rules and interrogations.
My only real suggestion would be to have each interrogation pull from like a "mana" resource or something, where if the interrogations aren't effective enough, you won't have enough mana to interrogate everyone and you'll need to make guesses! But genuinely this is great!
Incredibly polished game, genuinely have no criticisms or comments, outside the fact that it would be nice to see more complex loop and more interrogations. Fantastic entry!
damn this has to be the best one so far
so polished!!
i also loved the mini-games and poofing hehe :3
(i had to post again for it to post for some reason)
( can u pls try my game :3 )
Easily one of the most polished games I’ve played in this jam. Even the page has so much personality lol, everything feels really well put together.
The game is super simple but it nails what it’s going for. Had a really good time playing it and got way more hooked than I expected. Great job!!
Beautiful game! Amazing illustrations, polished mechanics and crazy creative ideas :D
Very well made the art was lovely the game looks polished! The idea is unique. Great job.
One of my favorites this entire jam, seriously. Incredible story, visuals, AND music. I loved the little mini-games and the other little things like the throwing and poofing (I'm playing with a touch pad so I threw so many innocents oops). Fantastic game, it's going up there with my faves.
Yeah this game is funny as hell and it's very clear you all worked really hard to make everything land properly, it's a very off kilter style of game that is not particularly interesting in terms of gameplay elements, but is absolutely OOZING with style, and as a showcase of style this game excels wonderfully, I can't imagine how much time was spent putting together the animations for the various methods of correcting these shifty wizzlers. Definitely do wish the actual gameplay elements had a bit more sauce to them but it's very clear you all understand comedic timing and making everything look clean as hell in all the ways it needs to be. Fun work!
This is probably the most polished jam game I’ve played so far. The art, animation and overall presentation are absolutely outstanding, and the whole thing feels far beyond what I’d normally expect from a game jam entry.
The deduction gameplay is fantastic too. Figuring out who is lying, who is telling the truth and how the different clues fit together was easily the strongest part for me, and I ended up playing all the way through.
The Wizboy minigames are a fun little diversion, but the interrogation system didn’t quite click with me as much as the deduction itself. Since there’s no penalty for trying different spells, you can simply keep using them until the interrogation bar is full. Some kind of limitation or trade-off could make that part more interesting.
Still, this is an incredibly impressive game. The humor works, the presentation is fantastic and the core mystery-solving gameplay is excellent
We agree, we wanted to gamify the torture side more but didnt have the time to do so
A really fun game — especially the overall look of the game page, which totally blew me away!
Loved it! the artstyle is great
I thought the gameplay loop was really good, the game did an excellent job communicating clues. It felt intuitie and the gameplay loop just has enough depth and fun elements to carry it. I liked that there is small minigames to break up the pace
I really enjoyed this game. The art style is lovely, and the gameplay idea is genuinely innovative. It's a wonderful experience that is definitely worth checking out.
