How does the game fit the theme?
You can’t trust your own past. Each round, your previous actions return as shadows that can turn against you.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made the main arena, gameplay code, and core systems myself during the jam. I used third-party water shaders and a few VFX assets.
How many people worked on the game?1

I like the idea! A timer would have made it more tense and fun, because I can just evade and wait for the shadows to disappear before taking the next action. Overall, good job!
Thank you so much! I agree, a timer would definitely make the gameplay more tense and prevent just waiting around. Really appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!
I liked the idea. I would have liked to be able to choose the number of rounds.
Thank you so much! I really like that idea too. Being able to choose the number of rounds would definitely make the game more replayable. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
very fun i liked the puzzle aspect of using the shadows while also being out of their way
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the puzzle aspect and using the shadows to your advantage. Thanks for playing!
You and I had similar ideas! I liked this spin on the "fighting your past actions", but the bounce physics never seemed to behave how I expected them to, and the lack of audio REALLY hurts my enjoyment. But what's here is good!
Thank you so much! Yeah, I agree the bounce physics could’ve been better, and I really wanted to add audio but ran out of time. Glad you still enjoyed the game!
I played though this game once and didn't really understand why I couldn't attack the enemies, and then I went back and realized I didn't read the tutorial closely enough. whoops. Once I understood that I had to bounce off the walls, I was able to pass it in one try. Really cool concept and I think you executed on the idea really well. I think there's a lot you could do to build on this idea, like add different arenas or enemies that have different destruction conditions. Also a little audio would be nice. Really awesome game!
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I’m really glad you gave it another try and figured out the bounce mechanic. I really like your ideas about different arenas and enemies with different conditions — I had more ideas planned but ran out of time during the jam. And yeah, audio was definitely on my list too. Really appreciate you playing and for the kind words!
Nice concept. I confess I played without reading the description, so I was a little confused, but it made sense after I read it and tried again. It may be worth considering that many players (like me) are too lazy or impatient for descriptions hah.
The look is great, and the slow-moving bullets give a real nice vibe to the combat. Great job.
Thank you so much! Haha, I totally get that — I probably should’ve made the mechanic clearer in-game instead of relying so much on the description. I’m really glad you gave it another try and that it clicked! And thank you for the kind words about the visuals and bullets, really appreciate you playing!
Feel free to rate my entry :P i just need a few more <3
Both of our games tackle the same "vs you" mechanic in a different way hahaha, yours rock! The concept is so cool, unique and chaotic, I loved it! Very fun game and very well executed. It's impressive you managed to do all this with only 1 developer, good job :}
Hahaha yeah, I noticed that too! It’s really cool that we ended up with a similar “vs you” idea but approached it differently. Thank you so much for the kind words, and I’m really glad you enjoyed the chaotic gameplay! Really appreciate you taking the time to play and leave such a nice comment!
Fun and Amazing game!
Thankyou soo much for playing and for such kind words :))
Lovely game. Keep it up and make games. :}
thankyou soo much for the feedback and playing bud :))
The shooting is really fun~
thankyou soo much for checkn out the game and i'm really happy that you enjoyed the game :))
Loved the concept, really well made game!
thankyou soo much for the feedback and playing bud :))
Loved this concept and execution! The movement and shooting felt satisfying. It was fun to create my own bullet hell by round 4 or 5 lol. The main feedback I would give is to add audio! I did not hear any SFX or background music, and I think those things would've been awesome. The game wasn't buggy, and the game loop was smooth. Nice work!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the concept and shooting, especially the bullet hell you created by round 4 or 5 haha. I definitely agree about the audio — I had SFX and music planned, but unfortunately ran out of time during the jam. Really appreciate the detailed feedback and for playing!
This game is pretty fun and easy to understand. The graphics are pretty good for a simple concept like this. I don't think I heard any audio, so maybe some background music or sfx would enhance the experience.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you found it fun and easy to understand, and that you liked the graphics. And yeah, there’s actually no audio at the moment — I had music and SFX planned, but unfortunately ran out of time during the jam. Really appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!
Short game, but unique concept, and fun playable game loop. Seems very polished other than having a very basic player and enemy model.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the concept and gameplay loop. And yeah, I agree the player and enemy models are pretty basic — with the limited jam time, I had to keep them simple. Really appreciate the feedback and thanks for playing!
The shadow mechanic gets chaotic real fast if you are not careful with you shots. It was really fun just messing around.
Overall a really nice game. Good Job :)
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you had fun messing around with the shadow mechanic. Yeah, the shots can get chaotic pretty quickly if you’re not careful, which was one of the things I wanted the player to deal with. Really appreciate you playing and sharing your thoughts!
The 'bounce to kill' mechanic was really unique, and the shadow movements were such a fun thing to play around in the last two stages!
The movement felt smooth, and the visuals were simple yet effective. It's a shame there wasn't any audio during the rounds, but it hardly took any of the fun away. I wish it were longer but for a short solo project, it was really well executed. Good job! :D
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the bounce mechanic and especially the shadow movement in the last stages. I really wanted to add audio and make the game longer, but with the limited jam time I had to cut a lot of things. Really appreciate the detailed feedback and kind words!
Very cool mechanic, I had a blast!
Thank you so much! Really glad you had fun with the mechanic. Thanks for playing and for the kind words!
Amazing, but very short game. The visuals are top notch and the mechanic is really cool. The game rewards you for quickly solving the bounce puzzle and shooting as few times as possible. I thought this game was going to be easy right before I saw the tutorial say "[shooting directly?] no effect"
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed the mechanic and visuals! That “no effect” moment was definitely meant to make you question how the game works haha. I agree it’s quite short though — I had more ideas planned but ran out of time during the jam. Thanks for the detailed feedback and for playing!
Pretty cool game! Adding some audio would make the game easier to keep playing! Got left with my thought in my head.
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed the concept. And yeah, audio was something I really wanted to add, but time got me during the jam. I’m happy the gameplay still kept you engaged though. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
Really cool game! I like the extra layer of difficulty the shadows add, forcing you to be smart with your projectiles. Visuals were really nice, a player model would also be nice for some extra immersion! Game fits the theme really well, really like how you interpreted it, very creative concept! Gameplay was nice and smooth, and I think some audio would go really well with everything! Also, I think an endless mode would also be cool to really push the limits of the amount of shadows you can survive!
Very much enjoyed playing this one! Great job, especially for a solo dev :D
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I’m really happy you enjoyed the concept, visuals, and the extra challenge from the shadows. I really appreciate all the suggestions too, especially the endless mode idea — I think that could be really fun to add. I also wanted to add audio, but unfortunately ran out of time during the jam. It honestly means a lot that you enjoyed playing my game and took the time to share all these ideas. Thanks again!
