THE BEST PLOT HOOK IN THE WHOLE JAM!At first, I just liked the art style, but when the cat started asking questions, I was hooked. Who could it be?.. Who stole his preciousssss (in Gollum's voice)!

The art and audio is cute. I really like how well the beds and desk of each human represent their interests.
The "card investigation" gameplay is interesting in concept, but I think it should have a little more complexity. Maybe clues that affect different characters, but in different ways (example: giving cards about feeding Mika to the athlete made her angry with the chef)

Really charming game. The art looks fantastic, the music fits perfectly, and the whole idea is pretty funny.
I think I may have gotten stuck or missed something though, because I only managed to find two rooms and one suspect before I ran out of things to interact with. Still, I really liked the presentation and the premise.

Edit: I eventually realized you can cycle through the suspects during the interrogations just like you can switch between the rooms. That cleared up the part I was confused about, and now I’m definitely going back in to find the real culprit.

I can absolutely see the effort put into this game, the music and art is really well made, everything is aesthetically pleasing. I like the narrative of the game as well, but unfortunately that isn't a rating metric in this game jam. You should definitely look into making web builds for your future games, I think it will help out a lot!

Such a silly game, art is amazing, and the writing is great! Audio is also really nicely done, and I like this interpretation of the theme! Was a bit stumped initially as to what I was doing, though I did figure it out after a while. Very much enjoyed it regardless! Keep it up :D

I love this take on the theme and the art is gorgeous! I did notice Mika's gender seems to flip a bit in dialogue and the wrong dialogue way playing for the wrong evidence (e.g. the photo album made her talk about the whiskers and vice versa). Overall really charming!
