Typing to scoop up the water, then quickly typing again to do it all over… it was hectic but so much fun! It really got me in a super upbeat mood. Thank you for the comment!

Thanks for playing!

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Hearing that it made you feel happy made me happy, too!

Great idea!  And very cute!

Thank you!

Yay!

I thought it was a simple typing game at first, but turns out you actually have to drink water using the mouse! It was pretty tough with one hand, so I couldn't even finish a single plate on spicy mode. Still, combining typing with mouse controls to simulate drinking water is such a unique idea—I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing!

You're right—you really have to drink water, since the curry is a bit too spicy for kids!

I've also prepared an epilogue, so if you have the time, please give the "Mild" version a try as well!

Right hand on the mouse, left hand on the keyboard—it sounds simple in writing, but it's actually so tough... It really shows how tricky multitasking can be.

Developer

Using both hands at the same time is sure to be good brain training, too! Probably!

Thanks for playing!

Really clever take on the theme — tying the CURRY to a rising HEAT meter you cool by drinking is a genuinely fun split-attention twist, and offering left- vs right-hand typing so your other hand can work the water is a thoughtful touch. I got to plate 2/3 for ~6,889 before the heat ran away from me. Lovely art and the JP/EN localization + result-image share are impressive for a jam. One bit of honest feedback: on higher heat the water drains so fast it's easy to get locked at 5/5 heat / near-0 water with no way to recover — a slightly gentler drain or a small recovery window might keep newcomers in the loop longer. Nicely done!

Developer

Thank you!

I enjoy coming up with new mechanics, so I think I managed to create a really solid system this time!

The support for both left- and right-handed play comes from the fact that I’m left-handed and use my mouse with my left hand—I really wanted to include a left-handed configuration.

AI art is one of my strengths, and for the localization and result-sharing features, I reused code I’d developed for a previous game jam!

Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the "heat" mechanic: the amount of health restored by water and the rate at which water falls remain constant.

So, while it *feels* more dire when the heat is high, the actual level of danger is the same regardless of the heat level.

Thanks for playing and enjoying the game!

This is a classic low floor high ceiling game... Easy to get going, but this one would take me ages to master.

Interesting idea and I liked the execution / art. Nice job.

Developer

That’s a great phrase—it turns out that what I was aiming for had already been put into words by those who came before...

Thanks for playing; I poured everything I had into those three days!

At first, one-handed typing sounded easy, but I loved the idea that your other hand has to keep pumping water! It uses the theme really well. In practice, it gets quite confusing and difficult, but I feel like mastering it might actually make me smarter!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

It was worth putting so much thought into how to strap the non-typing hand to the mouse!

I think I managed to create a game where mastering the controls changes the feel of the gameplay the more you play!

I LOVE this concept! It's executed very well, visually fantastic, great audio additions and animations. My only minor issue is that sometimes it wouldn't register when I was hitting a key and I kept getting an error when I was pressing the right button. But otherwise- I really enjoy this and feel very inspired playing it!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I apologize for the issue where the keys don't respond.

I haven't been able to reproduce it in my own environment, so the cause is unknown.

If I can identify the cause, I'd like to address it after the game jam.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yeah, I never thought just adding mouse controls would make my brain twist so much while I'm typing. It's super fun!

This is as far as I can go… It might be a problem that I'm playing with the trackball I've been warning everyone not to use, but that's just my excuse. Every time I hit the HEAT LIMIT, I'd get all sluggish and slow... And after panicking for a moment, I've already forgotten the keyboard layout💧

Personally, I really like the face drawn with just circles and shapes that you catch a glimpse of right after the game starts.

I had a really fun time. 😆

Cool, but I wish I knew how to beat this game! Love the music and the graphics.

Was there anything I failed to explain sufficiently?

Fun even before I figured out what I should be doing!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

There's an epilogue you can see after eating three plates, so please give it a try if you'd like!

This is the creator's score; I've managed to make the most difficult game of my life.
