How does your game meet GBJam's theme
My game is about finding the ancient legendary city of “EL DORADO.” The main mechanic and core loop revolve around managing gold within an inventory. Once the gold is in the inventory, it can be spent to obtain power-ups during the turns.

Wow, the art is absolutely incredible. I have no idea how you pulled this off with those transitions while staying within the 4-color on screen at any given time requirement, but this is genuinely the most beautiful game I've played in this jam so far. Music was awesome too, it was fast paced and really fit the gameplay. Great job.

Very good! I thought it was really beautiful, with good music and fun congratulations!

Very polished entry a lot of fun to play.

Love what you did with a smaller scope. Less mechanics but nice art and music make this game feel round.

This game is simply too good to miss :D

Ok that was so great!

Love the combat system, the timing making it so that you have to buy objects quickly if you don’t want to waste a turn doing less damage, the choice between hoarding items useful for combat or gold…

The art is top notch as well.

The gameplay here is insanely creative! Loved the unique spin on inventory management involving you physically placing the items on a grid. I don't know how you got the graphics to move like that, but it's incredible! And the music! Holy shit, Dāku never disappoints. Fantastic job!

So far I think this was my favorite game gameplay wise. The frantic energy of using the gold and also attacking was super well implemented. Inventory management was interesting to balance out my greed for resources, or greed for big number.

gorgeous pixel art, amazing music, and super fun gameplay!! i enjoyed how frantic it gets near the end, switching between using the gold to heal and attacking quickly enough that i could still beat the boss

Amazing game! It's short and simple, but it really hooks you in! The music is incredible! 🎵

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! 💖

I had a blast playing this. The combat seemed simple at first but then having to balance tetris-ing your inventory together and quickly spending gold without ruining your attack phase was so much fun. Obviously the art and the music were top notch as well, this whole thing was incredibly polished and could see it expanded to a full release without too much added work. Great job!

Clearly the best entry I've played so far, so polished in all aspects, had a blast, did 3 runs to win it. Very very impressive work. Great job !

Man, that's the best game I played on this JAM so far. Everything is so well made and polished, I'm speechless.

The music, the visual and the gameplay are outstanding, very very good.

My game has references to El Dorado too so I decided to give this one a shot xD

Very good game, congrats!

Genuinely incredible game. Can't believe how polished it is for a 10 day project! Everything from the art to the music and simple yet addictive gameplay loop is top notch. This could be on for a winner!
