Really amazing module. Visually impressive, very concise objectives, neat locations, and I really enjoy the possibility of the landscape changing with the river being rerouted. There’s a few typos here and there, but nothing that complicates reading.

The only thing that I didn’t get is what it means to be shod when climbing the hill. I could not find it in the Flail rules if this is a special term.

Thanks! I realized last week my generative AI disclaimer literally said I "Didn't not" use AI instead of saying I didn't use AI haha. I fixed it in the game page but I presume it wouldn't update the submission version.
Shod just means wearing shoes. Its probably a holdover term from me growing up in the Christian southern US.

Ha! Never heard that term before. It seemed so specific that I felt it had to be a game rule I missed. I should’ve looked in the dictionary instead :D

Love a silly module, especially one with writing this brisk & witty! The colors are gorgeous, and the collage art delightful. This one’s a banger!

Witty writing style and refreshing visual presentation. Really enjoyed reading this one!

Super polished and playful, to the point and easy to read! Love it

What I thought worked well

  • Great presentation, love the collage feel
  • Clean simple writing, very easy to get through yet a good amount of content
  • Fun items and threats

What I thought could be improved

  • The hex appearing twice felt a bit redundant. I understand why, but wonder if it could have been solved in a better way
  • Missed some beast names, could have been bold to stand out more

This one has such a cute art direction! The mix of pseudo standee photography and collage give it a Phytonesque look that’s mingling with the near-innocent theme of the module (making a fruit salad).

Writing is clear, pages make sense, theme is funny but has it’s dangers. Overall it seems quite enjoyable and gets in my todo list :)

Enjoyed it a lot. Charming with both the writing and art style. Packed full of things to discover with a really absurd yet dangerous vibe all around.

I love the unique handmade aesthetic of this! It reminds me of Terry Gilliam's work for Monty Python. Fun events too. Villagers changing the river's course is great. In fact, this whole thing is on brand for Monty Python, absurdist humor and all.

Great hexcrawl and art! It was a joy to read.

I'm not usually a fan of hexcrawls, but with the defined time limit and required movement to attain immortality, I think this module really justifies being one, and looks quite fun to run! The text is clean and straight forward, making it very easy to reference what you need to know in each zone.

The graphic design though is clearly the standout feature. It's halfway between Monty Python and and orange juice ad and somehow that works very well, especially for an entry with a goofier tone!

Good vibes and a really lovely, whimsical layout! It would be so fun to play through the balance between fighting and scheming to become immortal.

I love the hex layout, cool cover art gives me the Monty python and the holy grail vibes, the writing is really good. I would fit this in the Monty python ttrpg, into the odd, and carn flavor.

Really cool! Layout is super clean and I love the tone you've achieved with the writing here

Brilliant, just incredible. Top marks for writing and visuals! The sheer density of fun, funny, and clever ideas is enough alone to recommend the adventure—combined with these Monty Python visuals? Sweet ambrosia! I really like your use of contrast throughout, but especially on the Hydra and its collars. The Gods’ displeasure, but their relatively limited powers, allow the players to actually feel as if they’re getting a leg up on them, while also being threatened by them! I can easily imagine thinking, “Hah, up yours, Rheee!” if I ate of the fruit and commanded the centaurs.

If I were to request anything else of this thoroughly gameable module, I might only request some more Fury options, for I can easily imagine accumulating more than 4 (or neutralizing the cyclops), and possibly some way to better interact with the gods’ manifestations on this land, especially after achieving our apotheosis. What does immortality offer us? Do we get to grow our own fruit!?

Great stuff <3

The visual design of this is great, and it makes me want to take a shot at something like it. One of the highlights of the jam!

This has a great cut-out animation/ Monty Python vibe! Incredible layout and very succinct writing.  Rhee the god of feral pigs sounds like an absolute menace!

Incredible layout and very succinct writing is about the highest compliment I can hope to receive. Thank you!

Great to see Flail represented.  Some choice imagery within, visual and verbal.
