I got a game idea would you guys play it

Okay so basically I'm making a game in Python using PyGame about coding with Python. Its a pixel game but also not a pixel game because the characters are made of text and also the terminal looks particularly non-pixelated. Its a 2 player game.

How much would you guys pay for a gane like this? Would you guys even play it for free?

Edit: YO GUYS im entering this game idea into a competition for my school so that i can see if i can win.
Here's my pitch:

Coderoneous is a coding game where you use the coding language Python to navigate through a computer with the goal of saving your computer city, function(), from a virus called 00WERK674.

In Coderoneous, you don’t learn through quizzes and questions disguised as a game, you learn by actually doing. You hack your way through rooms using functions to disable cameras, open doors, activate/deactivate alarms, delete robot security guards, and whatever your mind can think of; the terminal is yours to explore.

It can be played either solo or with a friend to protect you, with one person coding and another defending the coder with script-based attacks to stall enemies.

You start with simple guided commands in the beginning levels to full on professional-level scripting puzzles during the final levels of the game.

The terminal, the main way of progressing in the game, directly executes Python code in a safe environment, only permitting certain necessary and safe-to-run commands and built-in functions for some of the tasks you need to complete.

In the end, Coderoneous is a game where you learn to code to save the city of function()—and the rest of the world—from the dangerous virus called 00WERK674.

It’s game tutorial about coding with Python? That seems helpful if the lessons are clear and effective.

But I’m confused why it would be made for two players.

I always imagined it with one person typing the code and another defending them by fighting off enemies and stuff but it can also be played 1 player

Okay! Yeah, I would playing that.

Sounds like Core War or one of its hundreds of descendants.

Are any of the games for Python available on Itch.io?

W3Schools has a decent quiz with a small amount of interactivity but I would like something mote engaging for learning or teaching the programming language.

I don't know if there are  any available here, but I know 2 pretty good games for learning phyton (or just programming in general).

1. The farmer was replaced.

You have to program a little drone to water and harvest plants. It starts out simple, but later the planting tasks get more complex. The drone is programed in Python, of course.

2.  Code: Terraform

A game about terraforming an alien planet. You have to build and program machines and rovers etc. Every machine has to be programmed in Python.

If it doesn't have to be a proper game, you could also try to do the phython course on https://www.w3schools.com/ . They have some quizzes and little programming puzzles.

i would like to play that. it sounds unusual and i think it's cool. i would play it if it was 1 player (for singleplayer).

yeah it would be 1 player at first now that i think about it

Your description is too vague and I couldn't figure out any basic mechanics from that.

If I couldn't figure out that, I'm sorry I won't play such game.

so basically you would be a character that would be going through rooms and making scripts to do things like disable cameras, activate/deactivate alarms, turn off guard machines, and stuff like that, and its 2 player (with 1 player support) because i always imagined one person doing the hacking  and one person fighting off enemies for the other person so they can code.

If this game is to make the players learn Python programming then yes I'd play it. But I usually play single player games ☺️.

there would be a 1 player version yes

it would kinda be a game where you code to disable cameras and alarms and open doors and stuff, and one person would be fighting and the other would be hacking ,and there would be 1 player support.

Sounds fun! I would like a brower play though, I couldn't do it with Python.

That seems like an interesting concept. I would love to give it a try.

Got my interest i like this idea ! But it would be best to make it as a playable browser version
