##  Story

**The Blood Hallways** is a first-person psychological horror puzzle game.

After another exhausting day at work, an ordinary office employee falls asleep at their desk. When they wake up, the office is no longer the same. The lights have almost completely gone out, the hallways stretch endlessly, and every door leads deeper into a nightmare.

Searching for a way out, the player explores abandoned industrial areas, concrete labyrinths, and unfinished construction sites while uncovering the terrifying truth behind this place. Blood trails guide the path forward, but they also lead to something far more dangerous. Before long, a relentless creature begins hunting the player, turning the search for escape into a desperate fight for survival.

Hey everyone! We are looking to expand our team for The Blood Hallways, a first-person horror game currently in active development on Unreal Engine. We are pushing towards our next major milestones, including a Steam page launch and Beta this August, and need talented creators to help us shape the world.

We are currently bringing on:

1️⃣ 3D Environment / Prop Artists

Role: Create high-quality, optimized, game-ready 3D models and textures (low-poly/high-poly workflow, baking).

Aesthetic: Dark, gritty, industrial, and abandoned office environments. Realistic horror textures (worn metal, rust, grim surfaces).

Tools: Blender/Maya/Max, Substance Painter. Good understanding of UE integration is highly preferred.

2️⃣ 3D Animators

Role: Create eerie, high-impact animations for first-person player interactions and monster behaviors/movements.

Requirements: Strong grasp of weight, timing, and horror pacing to maximize tension and scare factor.

💼 About the Project:

Active, daily development cycle with a structured workflow.

Collaborative international team.

Clear pipeline aiming for a targeted Steam release.

👉 How to apply: Please send a DM with a link to your portfolio/ArtStation and your rates. Let's talk!

good game design

Hi! Thanks for reaching out, your portfolio looks amazing! We would love to go with the close-up of the monster's face.

However, please note that the game is still in development, and we don't have final screenshots or a proper build ready yet. Our Steam page is planned to launch around August 25th. I will add you on Discord (bimplee) so we can stay in touch and discuss the details when we are ready!

Hey everyone! We are an indie team working on a tense, psychological horror game for Itch.io. The game core mechanics are ready (Steam integration, controller support, card-based mechanics, and solid movement), and now we are focusing on polishing the atmosphere and scaring our players.

We need a 3D Animator (beginner/hobbyist welcome!) to help us bring our monsters to life.

What we need:

Jumpscare animations (e.g., a monster dropping upside-down from the ceiling, sudden jumps, screaming).

Creepy movement/idle loops (twitching, uncanny crawling, or aggressive stalking).

Ability to work with humanoid skeletons.

What we offer:

A clear task list and organized workflow.

Credit in the game and a great piece for your portfolio/showreel.

Revenue share (RevShare) if the game makes a profit on release.

If you love horror games and want to make something genuinely terrifying together, drop a comment below or add me on Discord: ubuntu1477. Let's make players sweat! 💀

Hi everyone!

We are an indie team of 9 people developing The Blood Hallways — a gritty, atmospheric psychological horror game built on Unreal Engine 5.7.4 with Lumen lighting.

We are rapidly approaching our first major milestone: releasing a public Beta and launching our Steam "Coming Soon" page on August 25, 2026.

We need a talented 2D Artist / Graphic Designer to create the official Steam Capsule Art pack (header, small, main, and vertical capsules + game logo).

What we are looking for:

Ability to create dark, creepy, and eye-catching key art based on our in-game assets and monster design.

Understanding of Steamworks technical requirements (resolutions, aspect ratios).

Good communication skills (we use Discord).

What we offer:

A solid, working project with a dedicated team (not just an "idea").

Revenue Share (percentage of future sales) OR a small fixed budget for the capsule pack (open for discussion).

Credit in the game and on the Steam page.

[Rev-Share / Paid] Looking for a Sound Designer & Composer for a Psychological Horror Game "The Blood Hallways" (Unreal Engine)

Hello everyone!

Our international team of 6 (3 Blueprint Programmers and 3 3D Artists) is currently developing a PC psychological survival horror game titled "The Blood Hallways" inside Unreal Engine. We started active development on May 20, 2026, and we are aiming for a commercial release on Steam, Epic Games Store, and consoles (PlayStation/Xbox) in the future.

About the Game:

You play as an ordinary, overworked office employee who falls asleep at their desk and plunges into a shifting nightmare. The vibe scales from a completely calm, mundane office to absolute madness, shifting into crimson-tinted corridors, cultist symbols, creepy entities, and puzzles. Think P.T. meets The Backrooms in an office setting.

What we are looking for:

We need a talented Sound Designer / Composer who can bring this nightmare to life. Since horror relies heavily on audio, your work will be a core pillar of the game.

* Ambient & Music: Tense, minimalist, and psychological tracks that escalate as the player descends into madness.

* Sound FX: Flashlight clicks, heavy breathing/stamina panting, footsteps on different surfaces (carpet, concrete, puddles), eerie door creaks, mechanical lock/padlock clicks, and terrifying monster vocalizations/movement sounds.

* Unreal Engine Integration: (Plus, but not mandatory) Experience with UE Sound Cues / Audio Volumes.

Compensation:

We are currently working on a Revenue Share (Rev-Share) basis for the full release, but we are also open to discussing a fixed budget per asset/milestone if you have a portfolio that blows us away.

If you love horror, want to work with a dedicated, organized international team, and want to help create an atmosphere that genuinely scares people, we’d love to hear from you!

How to apply:

Please drop a link to your portfolio/SoundCloud/demoreel below or contact me directly via Discord: ubuntu1477

Let’s build this nightmare together!

I have sent you a request to discord. Thank you for your response.

Compensation:

Looking forward to hearing from you!

I would love to team up. Please add me on Discord: ubuntu1477 or drop your username here so we can chat about the details!

Hi simoX100! Thanks for reaching out.

As mentioned in the post, I am looking specifically for an Unreal Engine 5 Blueprint Programmer to handle the technical side of the game (AI, triggers, stamina logic).

Do you have experience coding with Blueprints in UE5? Let me know!

(2 edits)

Hi everyone!

I am a Game Designer/Director looking for a UE5 Blueprint Programmer and a 3D Environment Artist to team up for a potential commercial release on Steam (Enthusiasm / RevShare).

The Project: "K.U.L.T. 619" - a short, high-intensity psychological/liminal space horror game set in a terrifying office environment.

Core Mechanics:

  • Spatial loops (P.T. style)
  • "Weeping Angel" mechanics (mannequins that move when you are not looking)
  • Stamina-based running and high-tension escape sequences from monsters
  • UE5 Chaos Physics for environmental destruction (e.g., floor collapsing under the player)

My Role: Game Design, Level Design direction, Narrative, gathering assets, and overall Project Management.

Programmer Role (UE5 / Blueprints): Blueprint logic (character controller, room spawning logic, trigger events, AI for the mannequins/monsters, and stamina mechanics).

3D Artist Role: Environment modeling (office modules, doors, corridors), prop creation, and PBR texturing.

I have a clear vision, a structured plan, and a focus on high-quality visual presentation. We won't be wandering in the dark trying to figure out what to do. Since there is no initial budget, this is a great opportunity to build a highly polished, terrifying horror experience and add a strong piece to your portfolio.

If you want to make the players sweat, let's team up. Reply here or drop your Discord!
