Hi! I’m interested in helping with the environment/asset work.

I’m a solo indie game developer and creative generalist with experience creating and implementing 2D/3D game assets, environments, materials, textures, UI, animation, and complete playable scenes.

I work with tools including Blender, Blockbench, Krita, Material Maker, and Godot, so I’m comfortable thinking about assets not just as artwork, but as things that actually need to work cleanly inside a game engine.

I’d be interested in helping create office props, environmental assets, textures/materials, and scene dressing while keeping everything visually consistent across the pack.

I’m available now and would be happy to start with a small paid asset or test task so we can make sure the style/workflow is a good fit.

Happy to discuss rates, style requirements, and what assets you need most urgently.

Hi! I’m a solo indie game developer currently available for paid freelance work, especially small projects and defined tasks that can be completed quickly.

I primarily work in Godot 4 / GDScript, and I’m comfortable handling both individual features and broader development work.

I can help with:

• Gameplay programming and systems • Godot bug fixing and debugging • 2D and 3D gameplay • Mobile/touch controls • Prototypes and playable demos • Game and level design • UI implementation • Animation and game assets • Music and sound effects • QA/testing and bug reproduction • Polishing or finishing existing projects

One of my biggest strengths is being able to work across the entire development pipeline. I can take a small game or feature from concept through design, programming, visuals, animation, audio, testing, and a playable build.

I’m especially interested in smaller paid jobs such as fixing a broken mechanic, implementing a gameplay feature, helping finish a prototype, mobile/gameplay fixes, game-jam assistance, testing, or polishing an existing project.

I’m happy to discuss fixed-price work for clearly defined tasks.

I’m available now. If you have something you need built, fixed, tested, or finished, feel free to reply here or message me with the details.

Hi! I’m interested in the map designer position for Pursuit of Life.

I’m a solo indie game developer with experience building and dressing game environments, working with tile-based layouts, level flow, gameplay readability, and polishing scenes so they feel more complete and intentional.

Because I handle full game development myself, I also understand how map design affects movement, collision, gameplay pacing, NPC placement, interactables, and overall player experience—not just how a scene looks.

I’m comfortable working from an existing style and improving or expanding current maps while keeping everything visually consistent.

I’m available to start right away and would be happy to do a small paid test map or section first.

Hi! I’m an indie game developer working primarily in Godot 4/GDScript, with hands-on experience testing and debugging my own 2D and 3D games. I’m comfortable reproducing bugs, isolating the conditions that cause them, writing clear reports, and regression-testing fixes. I don’t have professional VN credits yet, but I’m comfortable with dialogue-heavy games and detailed QA work.

One example: in one of my mobile games, a power-up would occasionally stop spawning correctly after restarting the game. I’d report it like this:

Bug: Power-up sometimes fails to spawn after restart

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start a game session

2. Play until at least one power-up spawns

3. Trigger game over

4. Restart the game

5. Continue playing and observe power-up spawns

Expected: Power-ups continue spawning normally after restart.

Actual: In some sessions, no additional power-ups spawn.

Frequency: Intermittent

Extra info: I’d include device/build information and a screenshot or video if useful.

My schedule is flexible and I can commit around 15–20 hours per week, with additional availability when needed.

Desired rate: $10/hour.

Thanks! I’d be happy to help test the project.

Hi,

I’m interested in the Godot/GDScript programming commission for your 2D side-scrolling shooter/platformer.

I’m an independent Godot 4 developer working primarily in GDScript. My current project, DOOP: The Light Thief, is a playable Android game where I’ve built player movement, enemy pursuit and swarm behavior, randomized spawning, collision systems, resource mechanics, power-ups, UI, save systems, debugging, and mobile deployment.

I’d be interested in helping with the foundational programming work you need and am comfortable working on a defined temporary scope first.

Here’s my portfolio with gameplay footage and project details:

I can also send my CV if useful.

Thanks, Reece McKay
