A super fun game! Balanced pacing, 3 unique characters with different playstyles, and a variety of enemies are all examples of how much content was stuffed into this game. I would have liked to have seen access to each character's build progression slightly earlier/cheaper along with a 2nd unique upgrade for each character to give them all more build variation. The visual style is super appealing and the world building has me wanting more!

Cool concept! It looks like your leaderboard is only displaying 3 entries even though it has room for a bunch more. Adding a few sound effects could go a long way in giving the player feedback during gameplay. The illustrated art style is really charming!

I was able to play the game, though most of the textures were only black. The sky, the trees, the coins, and some others appeared as solid black. The gameplay is a nice and silly experience that I imagine would be really fun with friends!

It is extremely impressive how much extra was able to be added on top of the main mechanic's gameplay loop. The day/night cycle, the progressing music, the different loot behaviours, and more all make this game exceed expectations. Also, it's very difficult to control where the lasso goes.

A well rounded short experience. I would like to see some difficulty ramping added to make the game more challenging over time!

Amazing gameplay concept and visual style. Going down into the darkness is exciting and adventurous. Although slowly going back up is a little frustrating, made better by the oxygen vents. I would like to see some more objects to help going up, like springs or elevators.

A very whimsical game with a simple but fun gameplay loop! I wish there was more islands to play on.

The digging idea is an interesting concept. I wasn't quite sure how the shop worked or how to spend my gold. The leaderboard is difficult to understand because the player names are not unique. I would be interested to see what this game looks like with some more polish.

A solid combat gameplay loop, with tons of surrounding content and interesting designs. I wasn't able to beat the stage 3 boss, but the difficulty ramping is really well paced. PvP is a nice addition, and is where I imagine much more could be added to this game!

Each upgrade giving a new challenge, as well as very unique benefits and visually adding to the raft is an amazing execution of a really cool concept. The music and pixel art are both very high quality with clever implementations and effects. This game is brutally difficult but super fun!

Learning each of the minigames is difficult but rewarding. The atmosphere is excellently executed and the many unique soundtracks are great!

A very relaxing and creative concept! Although I had some difficulty with the UI's controls and mouse aim controls.

Keeping track of every set bonus and which are worth collecting is a fun puzzle surrounded by the super simple gameplay loop of increasing the bid on items I want! Some of the sets are more exciting than others, and I would be interested in seeing how wild and unique the set bonus designs could possibly get, if more were added!

The social features letting me steal from other players as a thief is a very strong use of the theme. Some sort of meta progression could go a long way in making this game replayable across multiple days.

The fundamental movement using the grappling hook is implemented in a completely addicting way, serving as an amazing core to this high-adrenaline game. Additionally, the social features this game uses perfectly enhance the competitiveness and reward of starting another dive. I think the game could use slightly stronger difficulty ramping, as its a little too easy and too tempting to go infinite!

A very charming art style! The ramping points is a very clever design decision that adds a fun strategy decision to this quick gem.

Completely action packed with some fun upgrades too! I wish there were even more upgrades to mix and synergize.

A game with both a very unique visual style and lots of content to play with. Some cross-run meta progression could make this really fun to come back to!

A fun and relatable interpretation of the theme! The player could be given even more hints through additional power-ups or similar.

The tide really had me considering every move! I wish the game had explored more variations on its mechanics.

The brainCloud Game Jam is in its final stretch (it wraps up October 30), and if you’re still wondering how long it takes to get brainCloud into your game, here’s your answer: we built a (very) simple, but playable game with brainCloud integration in just 10 minutes and 35 seconds.

Watch the video:

You can use this for the brainCloud jam: Submissions need brainCloud Authentication plus at least one other brainCloud feature. This run covers both requirements in a single sitting, so you can see how little setup stands between you and a valid entry.

So, can you beat 10:35?

Come say 'Hi' on the Jam's Discord: https://discord.gg/3AX42uBtwn

Itch.io requests that games on the platform self disclose the use of generative AI in projects. The platform's full guidelines for developers are listed here. Projects that self-disclose generative AI use will display so to players underneath the expanded 'More information' section on the project page.

When creating your project page, you can find radio buttons to disclose AI use in the section titled "AI generation disclosure", which can be found below the "Tags" section and above the "App store links" section. Selecting 'Yes' creates a new box allowing you to specify what kind of content in your project is AI generated.

This is the brainCloud Jam's community page.

You can use this place to ask for help, ask questions about the rules, or just show off what you have been working on.

You can also do all of those things on the Jam's discord server: https://discord.gg/HXspyHDye

Good luck and have fun!
