Crazy good looking/well made game, especially for one person in a game jam! It was fun too! Keep it up :)

Fun game! I used to play BS  with my friends so this definitely reminds me of that XD Overall game is well polished, and I really like that the rules are always displayed to help out forgetful people like me

Developer

Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

good job, nice take on liars dice, everything seemed polished and worked well for me. the ai was decent at the game as well and nice touch having multiple ai personalities, i enjoyed this one, nice game

Developer

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. <3

Cool game! I'm not very good, I guess, Emma trashed me like I'm a toddler.

Very polished game, the two fonts are a nice addition (font 1 is difficult for me to read), and the options for the sound are nice too.

Fit the theme very well, really good job! =)

Developer

Thank you so much. Glad you enjoyed it <3

It may just be liars dice, but it is in an enjoyable format.

Developer

Thank you, I really appreciate it.

I really enjoyed the music! Well polished game!

Developer

Thank you so much. Appreciate it brother.

Nice take on Bull****! <3 I loved the art so much. It was honestly very polished. I feel like the AI should be a "tad" smarter as in if they only have 2 shapes, then they shouldn't say 3 "shapes" as their bet. I don't know if that's a bug or that was intentional <3

Developer

Thank you so much.

When they say 3 shapes, they are also calculating probability of that shape being in opponent's hands too, they are calculating based on total number of known and unknown shapes on the board, so I'd say it's intentional.
Glad you had fun <3

This is a pretty cool version of Liar's Dice, and I like the idea of having fewer dice as you lose lives. In that sense it almost reminds me of the board/card game Skull. The game is super polished, and there isn't much feedback to give. It's simple and clean, and really solid.

Developer

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it <3

Really fun once the betting clicked! I especially liked that the different opponents actually feel a bit different to play against instead of just being difficulty settings.

Also really nice presentation, especially for a jam game. Nice work! 🐞

Very chill, very relaxing and decently smart AI. This is an amazing implementation of a very simple idea and it feels cozy.  It's hard to find something to improve upon, you have a good amount of feeback in your UI and a very cohesive  style, but I guess you could lean into the UI feedback even more. Text that moves in with your character for example, or more stylized text boxes. Maybe some more character personality? Make them more characters rather than difficulty levels.  There really isn't much to imropove on, this is fantastic.

Developer

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I will definitely update the UI abit after the jam. I tried to keep it as simple as possible for the aesthetic for the game. But could be better for sure.

Thanks again <3

Really clever game idea! Took me a second to understand it, but once I did it was really fun. The art was great as well and everything in the game from the art to the ui was very cohesive. Also bonus point for adding accessibility  settings like simpler font option and sfx and music volume levels! Stuff I should have done in my game but didn't get too haha

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and the kind words. I really appreciate it <3

took me a minute to grasp the exact rules but once it clicked I had a blast playing against the AI
having multiple AI personalities implemented for a jam is super impressive and the art gives it a really cozy tabletop feel, well done!

Developer

Thank you so much. Implementing 3 different ai difficulty was a challenge and I'm still not sure if hard mode Rex is the strongest, many people have said Ema is much harder to beat than Rex.

Anyways thanks for the kind words. <3

Clever take on the theme and very well implemented. Nothing revolutionary but what's that's expected when adapting board games.

The presentation is clear and readable but I was a bit confused by your wording in the rules. It mentions that you're betting on a shape existing "in both hands" and that does not seem to be the case for the AI bets. I think having a concrete exemple would make this a lot easier to grasp.

This also allowed me to discover that I suck even more at liar's dice when playing against an AI. Good to know.

Solid entry, nice job.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing, I will try to clear the doubt. So the thing with betting is if You bet 3 x circle, that means you believe that minimum 3 circles are there on the board (both your and npc's hands combined, which is 10 shapes at the beginning and goes down as game goes on).

If npc bets 4 squares let's say, that means no. Believes there are atleast 4 squares on board. If you don't believe so then you can call liar. Then the shapes are revealed and if npc's bet is true, means there are actually 4 squares on the board then you lose, if not then you win the round.

Hope that makes it clear. <3

Nice art and UI. Good sounds. The rule does confuse me when we are betting different shapes. Like 3 square vs 1 pentagon -> 4 square vs 1 pentagon -> 4 square vs 2 pentagon.

Developer

Thanks for playing. So the rule with shpaes is that higher number corner means higher value shape (this value only matter when betting). for example if npc bets 4 squares and you can't bet 5 sqaure, you can go to a higher value shape that is pentagon and bet 1 pentagon. anything square or below you will have to bet 5 numbers, but if you select higher value shape you can bet in lower numbers. Hope this makes it clear. <3

Nice and cozy version of the classic Liar’s Dice, but I would like to see some kind of twist on the basic formula. I am impressed that you managed to implement three different AIs. Good job!

Heaps of fun! Enjoyed getting a good hand that you knew you could do a good bluff with!

Developer

Thank you for playing. glad you enjoyed it.

There seems to be a bug with raising the bet or something, I couldn't quite figure that part out. But it was a fun game

Developer

Thanks you for playing and reporting a bug. I haven't encountered any bug myself so can you please give me a screenshot or somthing so that I can fix it in future. That will be a great help. Thanks.

Before placing a bet, when changing the shape, it would jump straight from 2 to 5. I probably won't be able to trigger/recreate that again

Developer(+1)

Oh that is by design, for example if the last bet with circle was 3 circles, and later if you scroll to circle it will show 4 circles, because that is the least valid bet. that's because how bet with each shape is saved in a temporary memory of the board.

Submitted(+1)

haaaaaaaaaaaa In that case, the game is actually really good, apart from me misunderstanding it.

Developer

Thank you for playing and the feedback <3

Quite a unique game for the jam.  At first I it was a bit confusing on why I kept losing but later I  understood my mistake and managed to beat all of the NPCs. The artstyle  has its own  cool vibe to the game.  Good  job on the game!

Developer

Thank you for playing. Glad you enjoyed it.
