This game is hilarious. The sprites are some of our facourites weve seen in the entire jam. We had so much fun with this. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from. We will come back and play more for sure. :)

very silly use of "countdown"
after reading the other comments I see that "other vampire" games were made but I haven't seen them. this is probably the first or second I think? oh well. it's fresh for me!
Hmm that's a great question actually. Likely will need some sort of post-jam update to fix up the rough spots (more readable font, less finicky controls, more forgiveness for enemy detection, perhaps more/better levels) but that may be about it. If it does magically do well or someone gets a groundbreaking idea for things, going further could be an option. Seems unlikely at the moment, but one can dream
So this is the other "Down goes the Count" game... I just came from the other equally named one which is drawn and has a human count and have to say that your game if fire!
I find it funny how he always tells the assassin to "kill" the other counts while all she does is make them trip in a cartoonish fashion, and the random funny insights he gives about the counts. And I LOVE the intro with the castle and the lightning. Oh, and of course I can't forget to mention the "Count Down" scene when winning.
I gotta say thought that there seems to be a bug with Level Eleven. The button for it seems to not work, and when the level finishes it doesn't take the player back to the Main Menu, or at least that's only on the web version. Perhaps the button one is intended because it's bonus, but the other bug will make it not possible to replay it...
Cool intro, very nostalgic. Bit weird taking down vampires using bananas, but ok. Good job getting the stealth system working.
The artwork is fantastic, absolutely beautiful! Its cool to hear about every count, makes the text worth it. I would agree with what the other person said about items being auto picked up. But all in all absolutely awesome
Fun game! The art looks great too. It might feel smoother if items were picked up automatically, although the current approach does add a bit more challenge. and maybe auto consume for the potions. Overall, really great work!
What's the beef with Count Darius?? Seemed like a chill guy.
A surprisingly well polished and challenging puzzle game! I couldn't stop playing, I wanted to see how we would trip up the counts next. It's a...generous interpretation of theme, but I'm glad I got to play this.
I love the art for the introduction, as well as the various sprites. And the cover art?? The assassin has so much aura
A fellow vampire hurting game (Though ours is, slightly bit more violent), very funny and charming, I like the variety of objects you can use to trip and their different limitations and advantages, I did find the cone of view a little finnicky at times, feel like they noticed me when they shouldn't have, maybe a small grace period would have helped it since sometimes they do a turn and clip you by a few inches. Overall still a great game
ps: I am the greatest assassin

When I first saw the (very well-drawn!) cover, I thought this was just another piece of anti-vampire propaganda, but I was delighted to find it had a much sillier tone, using humiliation rather than outright violence! I liked the idea of all the different traps and having to avoid hurting innocent bystanders, something often overlooked in most games (including mine technically, lol). The art was really good, and I liked the music too, though I found it didn't loop properly some of the time. Other than that, it was great!
