Crisp character animations and movement! Felt really responsive!
Very charming game! You managed to add quite a lot of variation and mechanics given the short time frame. It's hard to overlook sometimes, but the game is also really polished. I always knew what needed to happen next and never had to question what the next step is. The art looks amazing too! Cheers!
Great job on your submission! The game looks beautiful. I absolutely loved the pixel art and the overall visual style.
Congratulations! I also thought your interpretation of the game jam theme was very creative. It was a really fun and interesting way to build a game around the theme.
Great job! Simple take on the theme, but the execution is really good. Fun levels, tight feeling engine. I can definitely tell there are some Celeste fans in the crew.
I had a little trouble finding "gate 3" on my first try, but I found it just before dying and gave the whole thing another go. Won with 5:55 left on the clock!
My first 5-star rating for this jam, congratulations! Very good idea!
A very creative take on the theme, and the pixel art is very nice. It's a shame there was a bug afterward that prevented me from finishing the game.
The countdown and clocks as a theme are very well incorporated, and the pixel art is impeccable. The audio is very fitting, and the controls and general behaviors of the game function very properly. I get the sense that you guys decided to make a specific type of platformer, and to focus on making it well over making it extravagant. Great job. It feels very professional.
Well made, just wish it could use arrow keys or jump with W.
This game was great; it felt very intuitive. All the components fit together very well from the music to the art style.
Very well-made game, I think my only complaints would be that as someone who does not use WASD often, moving around was hard, and that I don't know how I got the winged clock but I did and I couldn't wall bounce out or something so I got stuck. Otherwise, great game!
great art and an excellent platformer. Getting to that winged clock at the end made me wonder about all the other creative ways you could mess with the formula. Really enjoyed it! I got 4:33, if anyone wants to try and beat me ;-D
Really nice platformer , the pixel art is top notch ! Well chosen music as well ,everything clicks together very well , managed to get to the end . The difficulty is just about right as well. Good amount of polish .
A little feedback I found out about the wall jump by just trying ,but it wasn't addressed (I was scratching my head behind the first gate when I thought I was stuck). Also , red colour for platform gave me more of a "danger ,don't step on ", rather then it is usable ( i jumped on it at the end anyway haha ) .
Overall, very good work ,you got my rating! 😎
Really nice, I got a time remaining of 5:44. I like how intuitive all the different mechanics are.
By the way there's this one checkpoint placed on a semi-solid platform behind the 2nd gate I think (in the top-left) where when you respawn on it you fall through the platform which isn't really a major issue but I did die because of it so may as well mention it.
Unique and really hit the topic well. Well done!
Ps: I have small freezes when entering a new level. (Played in browser)
very enjoyable I liked the art and the timers all across the map and the art, it felt a little bit like celeste both gameplay wise
i did run into one small issue, i got softlocked at the winged clock part because i accidently threw the clock and died and i couldn't get back to the clock because the section required the slow fall of the clock
Very cool game! I really enjoyed playing it!
Personally, I got through it without any issues understanding what to do, it felt very intuitive. The controls felt great, and I really liked the different gameplay mechanics. For example, the switching blocks fit the theme well (additional) :D
I also liked the art style. And I really appreciate that you can pause the game with Escape :)
This looks so great and polished! I vibed with the music and the art is so pretty. I think a few more obvious queues would be helpful: I didn't understand I could wall jump while playing, and the first clock placement hole wasn't super obvious to me, it took me a sec to move ahead on those parts.
