I like the game, the art is purely wonderful and I like the lil buddy :) Good job, but the TNT should be nerf IMO :))

not just a well made game. i actually had fun playing this :)
this is an insane game, really good concept, everything is polished: the art, the game, the music, that's a masterpiece!
Enjoyed this game so much, there is something about mining haha, great job!
Cute and fun! The gameplay reminded me of Steamworld: Dig. I liked how chill it was, there aren't any enemies, you only have your action economy to deal with. The TNT and the ladders are extremely OP though, especially when you get unlimited of them! The very round after I got the TNT, I managed to get to the bottom of the world and win the game, it's just way too good to blow up like 10 tiles at once with a single move. If you had X amount of TNT that refreshed each day I think that would make it more balanced. That being said, balance isn't always good! Sometimes it's just fun to win crazily, and I certainly had fun doing that in this game. So thank you for making it, great entry!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed :)
Yes, the TNT and the ladders are utterly broken! Those item mechanics went in towards the end while we were doing the world design and we just didn't have a chance to fully balance them with real play testing. I think for the scope of the game jam it's sort of okay that you end up easily demolishing the world, since it's kinda fun to just blow it all up anyway. In a more fully fleshed out version of the game we would absolutely balance it a little better.
It's simple but it's so fun! The gameplay and art is really awesome. The main menu is also really creative! One annoying thing for me is when the character automatically move after breaking the block, so I waste my digs a lot of the time. Great work!
Really good one, felt satisfying to play. Looks like we had a similar idea with the digging mechanics :)
Great game.
The interface and sounds are clean and pleasant.
The gameplay is engaging, and it's easy to understand what to do at the beginning and how to progress. Big like.
That was super fun! The menus glitched a bit for me, some days the store window would just blink on the screen, but other that that glitch I had a great time with the game.
Really creative! This reminded me of Terraria and this browser Flash game called Gold Miner that I used to play as a kid! Loved the concept. Congrats!
Really apt narrative given the cost of living crisis, wish I could go mining in my back yard :D Love the whole look and satisfying game play!
Really good and Interesting game. I really liked the art and gameplay.
This is an absolutely captivating game! I had a lot of fun playing it! Much love <3
I'm amazed by how many good games were made this jam. This is one of my favourites, If there was a full story and more content I would wishlist for sure! Congrats!
I had a blast (pun intended) with this game! The visuals are charming and I love a digging game. I thought the possibility for strategic expression here was very cool, though unfortunately the dynamite is OP and becomes the correct action. I think a revised, full version of this game that has more consideration for the action economy, just that I need to choose what and how to dig, would make a spectacular game. I would definitely buy and play such a game.
Side note: the deep underground area is supe cool.
Thank youuu :D Yes the TNT is too powerful, fixing it and the ladder would be some of the first things I would fix. The power of the items is sort of in direct conversation with the design of the level (both rewards and exploration), so balancing it is actually a little tricky.
Glad you enjoyed my manic 4am level design at the bottom of the world hehe :)
I found the game really fun! I liked the way the map reveals itself on the right, and all of the different nooks and crannies. It's really well polished, too, and I enjoyed seeing both endings, as well as what lies at the bottom of the map...
