Of all the scifi submission i've read (and they are A LOT), this one stands out for the cheerful tone and the cunning use of space

Fun!! Nice sci-fantasy blend. Excellent art, the pointcrawl map incorporated into the cover works great! Clear layout and good use of space. The tiny-planet-as-adventure-location is reminding me of The Little Prince, which is a really funny/interesting touchstone =D. Maybe it's not supposed to be a tiny planet, but that's the impression I got.

Crazy charming comic book style and pulpy space shenanigans. Get zapped!

A cool spacy but not space adventure! Lovely written, illustrated and laid out!

I like that the big theme of a wizard trying to do a good thing leading to a bad thing is mirrored in a smaller way by the will-o-wisps! And perhaps this theme is spun even further by the endings, as the players themselves can only do things with good intentions, but questionable outcomes?

Please resolve one little confusion: at the very beginning there is the bridge and in that area description it is sad in a central area live 45 people. Is this meant to be a central settlement in A1, the shambles in A4 or are the NPCs dotted around over all areas?

I’ll put the module unto my todo-list :)

That cover, and all the illustrations, are absolutely charming. Love the "protection-turned-tragedy" lore. I hope Gully gets to have lots of friends.

I really like how you use colour! The NPCs are also well drawn–in both ways you can use that word.

Super creative and amazing art! Petra and Gully look really cute.

I really cannot fault this at all. Start to finish this is a wonderful little adventure, and the art is just so fantastic!

Great art and writing. Also, writing the hooks on the front cover made me happy to see. I hadn't seen that before, but I like it!

Genuinely struggling to find anything h to significant to critique. Top marks all around.

  • Any intent to add some color to the locations page? Your use of color was not only thematically appropriate it really made things pop and helped carry eyes around the page. Whether just making the art color or carrying the blue font for headers, I think it would help.
  • Beside space, any reason you only went with a d4 for signs/encounters/environment entries?

Disclaimer: Despite what the massive wall of text below might have you believe, I really liked this!

Also, fantastic fantastic art. The cover was great, but my favorite piece art of gully. I'm a sucker for people that can actually cartoon.

This adventure was really hard to figure out what exactly was happening until I read the last page. For other folks rating this adventure, you should download the booklet version, since the information presentation n that version is a lot more clear. Still, if I had one critique of this module, it is that it was really hard to figure out what was happening, and I still don't quite understand how the barrier works (besides it preventing Star-N606 from finding the place). What happens to the PC's if they try to cross it?

Some questions I'd love to see answered in a full version of this adventure:
Are the PC's from the same planet as the Crimson Vale? If so, how are they getting through the Stormsong in the first place? Can others also go through the Stormsong? What is happening outside of the Crimson vale on-planet?

I love this use of theme! Fantastic art. Good locations and layout. My only quibble is that I didn't quite get the reason that some of the villagers turned into monsters.

Was something about the location or the Crimson or the magic causing them to turn into monsters when they were restless? Or was it only deceased villager spirits that turned into monsters because they were restless?

A stunning setting and immersive world. There is just so much here; I think this will end up being a campaign run at my table. Thank you for writing it!

Clever use of the map in the cover - makes me wish I'd found a way to do that with mine. Great scenario with good pressure mechanisms and interesting "win conditions". I like the format of your location keys. Very punchy and informative in all the right ways. The creature art cracked me up.  Great job!

Great art, map, & layout!

Really enjoyed the tragic backstory of unintended consequences from good intentions gone wrong! Very lethal to the careless, and can definitely be used to link to wider stories, like finding Zolo

Thank you!! I'm glad the backstory resonated, we really wanted this to be something that could slot into a larger adventure if you wanted so glad that came through!

This is wonderful. I adore the overall feel, theme and art. So clean.

Great use of the cover to solve some things the page limitations made difficult. Illustrations are perfect and set the tone perfectly. Looks like it’d be a blast to play.

That 4-page limitation really is killer haha. Thanks for the kind words!
