Did your team create most/all of the graphics yourselves?
Yes, everything but base mesh 3D models that I took screenshots of for 2D use.

Did your team create most of/all the audio yourselves?
No, music is from a royalty free site, and sfx are from various collected packs over the years.

How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
Build an unstable tower to reach an unstable moon.

Fun and very polished - besides the core mechanic I really like the presentation with the narrative and dialogue/commentary by the character! Well done!

Such a fun entry! Great concept and execution of the theme. The mechanic is simple but effective, I could spend hours stacking up the furniture. It's great that you added an option to rotate them. Moon beams and orbs are also a great mechanic so it's not quite as punishing, but still high stakes when 3/4 villagers die when you are halfway to the moon XD I love the art style of the wizard and moon, cute whimsical. Nice way to combine the tutorial into gameplay too. The audio is fantastic. Great entry.

I'm so determined to get to the top but it's so hard LOL I've been having a lot of playing this. The challenge paired with the cozy vibe from the music, colour palette and art style is perfect. Thank you for sharing!!

Ohh man, this is so much fun! It feels like playing Jenga. Though I kept squishing the little guys lol, the gameplay design, visuals, and sound effects are all top-notch! also I really love the slow-motion effect when things fall :D

Omg so fun!! i love the concept and it was really fun to play

Pretty cool game! Really fun but I also really like the art style. Really enjoyed it!

This game has a simple, but unique concept that is very well polished. Great job :)

A very cute game! I love the simplicity of the style and the way the models have a flat texture, making the 3d blend in with the 2d. The start of the cutscene and the dialogue with the character were silly, and made me chuckle a bit now and then. The atmosphere was nice, along with the background music. Admittedly, kinda have a hard time getting through the ending since I kept killing all the villagers, so maybe a checkpoint would help.  Overall, a pretty good game!

What a great game! I really enjoyed it. The best strategy I found is sacrifising 2 of the villager to pile a mountain to their side. Thx for your effort :D

Nice! This was hard, I only managed to get to 33m in my best attempt. I enjoyed it.

Congrats in your submission Gaffe!

I found your game really fun; I liked that it's physics-based. I hope you check out and rate my game as well. (Rated)

This is a lot of fun! I love the art and the voice line sound effects are great!! I want to see if the moon is okay! I really like the moon beam mechanic as well. Great job!

I should have realized the yearn to conclude the story lol I have added a large tips section to hopefully aide in this.

I really wanted to know what's on the moon! I spent half an hour on it but couldn't quite reach the 50-meter mark, but wow, what a fun game, I really enjoyed it. Still, I really wanted to know what's on the moon.

Developer

Yes I believe only one person has still beaten it lol. Maybe after the jam I'll cut the height in half, or put more tips in the game. One thing I see people do a lot is always use the moon orb to increase their height, the most difficult approach. It's much easier to create a nook using other items to safely place the orb. You can also use long pieces rotated horizontally before you use a moon beam charge, so that you have created a frozen platform for which 2 items could rest on, creating a strong foundation.

Heyo! Really cool game! I think you nailed it in the balancing items mechanic. Making it 2d and 3d was such a cool choice. It was really funny to discover that the stick figures get crushed by the falling items. Good luck!

Love the cute and fun artwork! An interesting take on the numerous stacking games. The awkward shapes does make it quite challenging but is well balanced with a choice mechanic. Good work!

haha love this game funny artwork and love that you can accidentally crush the poor villagers. Only one issue is that there is not scroll wheel on laptop so I cannot rotate the objects. A playable game none the less very good theme interpretation and funny dialogue!

Rate my game?

Developer(+1)

Ah, I should have put some keyboard buttons for the rotation you're right. Rated as well, enjoyed your game!

It's really well made ! The slow mo when my carefully placed book fall on the last stickman... :'D

Really cool Game!! it reminds me of a stacking to go top mobile game! the art is so AWESOME Too.

This is fun, but really difficult! I couldn’t get higher than 40 meters. I think some visual cues showing which way and how far my stack is tilting would really help me!)))

Developer

Visual cues for the lean is a good idea, the game is certainly a bit too difficult. I have added a tips section in my description to hopefully aide some people in getting to the ending hehe.
