How does the game fit the theme?
The little blotches you hire to help you finish your painting sometimes turn on you. It could be any one of them. It could be all of them. I wouldn't trust any of them, honestly.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

I loved it.

I’m a big fan of clicker games, and this one is really relaxing, with all those colours and the way the village gradually develops. I know I’ll come back to play it when I’ve got a bit more time. The link to the jam’s theme seems a bit tenuous to me, but never mind – it’s a great game!!

I BEAT THE WHOLE GAME WITHOUT A SINGLE HELPY GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I absolutely love this game, if it wins instead of me, I'll be disappointed, but I'll understand, and know exactly why!)

The game really draws you in from the start. I absolutely love the visuals, the click feedback, the animations — everything flies, shakes, the screen trembles. The polish is top-notch.

However, around the middle, I ran into a problem: the paint on buildings that I thought I had already cleaned started disappearing on its own. I didn't understand why this happens or how to deal with it. I didn't have enough droplet production to compensate for this leakage, and it felt like an unfair mechanic. Intuitively, you'd think that once you've upgraded a building to all 4 levels, it becomes fully clean and you can move on to the next ones — but apparently that's not the case.

Still, my overall impression was formed in the first few minutes, and it's extremely positive. Maybe I just misunderstood the mechanics. I'd be grateful if you could explain how to properly play through the game. Thank you!

Yeah, the rogues were stealing from you. If you popped them, they'd give it back and more, but I agree. The update I have planned for after this jam is over will make it so they can't drain any tiers that have been unlocked, or any fully unlocked buildings. And the rogues will start dropping a bit more to be noticeable, so the player can decide if it's worth keeping them around a bit longer. Hopefully those combined will address your issue there and make it feel more fair, while retaining the "they're going rogue, must pop them" feel.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

Really fun, loved the vibe and ended up playing it for a while.

The game is very interesting; I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like it. It's very entertaining to play; I could easily spend a lot of time on it.

The only suggestion I would make is that the narrative/dialogue text be enclosed in subtitles, as the red plop's dialogue overlaps with the lake where you interact, making it easy for anyone to lose track of the narrative, which is quite intriguing. Otherwise, it's a fantastic piece of work.

This was a satisfying game to play! All the 'juice' when clicking, picking things up, etc. makes everything feel good and rewarding! I certainly loved the chill and relaxing atmosphere, had me hooked for decent while!

The visuals and audio are great, and the gameplay is pretty nice, I enjoyed getting more buffs from upgrading my buildings and seeing all my numbers go up.

The blobs are a little bit of a pain to deal with though, after some time I just stopped hiring them because they were all bound to go rogue eventually.

I certainly enjoyed playing this game, good work!

good job, expecially as a one man army

addictive and fun :D

it's a great concept, but it is impossible to click the imposter blobs... they never stop moving, and it requires pin point accuracy to get them

Yeah, i gathered that, so I put a slider in the settings to adjust how fast they try to run away. Hope that helps!
