How does the game fit the theme?
Sometimes, we go through circumstances that force us to lose trust in everyone around us, but the heaviest burden of all begins when it evolves into losing trust in yourself.

This is why we chose this theme for our game; we decided to explore the quiet struggle of trust issues and self-sabotage that so many people endure in silence. The game starts by placing the player in a state of paranoia and constant suspicion toward their coworkers, mirroring this internal conflict. However, as the events escalate, they realize that the real crisis might actually stem from within.

Our goal wasn't just to build a puzzle game, but to deliver a message of support. We hope this experience reaches even just one person, letting them know they are not alone in feeling this way—that there are others who understand and share this exact struggle. Most importantly, we wanted to highlight that recognizing the problem is only the beginning, but the truly courageous step is talking to a specialist or a therapist to move past this phase and heal.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

On theme with the Trust No One! Just a nitpick of the buttons - they were greyed out so at first I didn't see them, then I thought they were disabled so I didn't think to click on them until I wasn't able to get out of the screens I was in. Also when clicking one of the 4 icons at the top, there's no way to go back without getting out of the suspect's file. Other than that, nice job!

The game fits the jam’s theme really well. I really like the graphics, and the atmosphere is well done. Great job!

I think being able to skip the text appearing is very necessary. I also didn't really understand that we were supposed to be picking the right clue for each one. I guess I just expected to gather information from everyone and then pick the right clue for the right person. I also think being able to switch which clue you are looking at without going back to the previous menu would be nice.

Good job on this, art looks good. Theme was fairly solid.

Great game please rate my game 🙏

As said by another comment, a back panel on the text would make it easier. Also for some reason, the text shows itself very slowly for me. Aside from that, the game is fine. i am a clueless idiot though

It would have been nice if when the characters are talking and the white text appears, to place something like a black panel that you can see through behind the white text so the white text is easier to read!

Thank you for the feedback! That's a great point. We'll definitely look into adding a background panel to make the text much easier to read. Thanks for playing!

Ughh.. no salary payment for me this month. I wish i can crack the case. Very good game submission. Love the art and the interrogation. But i am so clueless, i can't find the culprit. Nice job, devs!

If you like to please try mine too, it is about Pastor  vs Vampire :

The story is really interesting, but the text speed is a bit slow, which makes replayability a slight issue :D

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! By the way, if you want to skip the wait, there's a quick trick: just hit back and click on the suspect again, and the dialogue will already be there!

pulling the router log on kevin and watching him go from "the router has always been fine, it's you people" to "fine i downloaded the backup, legally" was a great little crack, and the paranoia meter ticking under the five minute clock keeps the office tense. nice deduction loop, good job

It wasn't bad  gameplay wise and it fits the theme, but the art looks really funny to me for some reason, anyways keep trying your best to improve the overall concept is good ദ്ദി/ᐠ。‸。ᐟ\

The game feels good! Just one thing: the dialogues are really slow.
