How does the game fit the theme?
You are a cat. You trust no one. You've been left to man.. CAT! the shop while the Man-ager is away. You've seen those purrloiners stealing from other stores, who can trust any of the customers here? Catch the thieves in the act with a good ol' claw, and serve the customers who are queueing like good trustworthy citizens.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All code, art, and audio was made by us. Some Easter eggs were included from our previous jam submissions.

Wow gorgeous game. The art is gorgeous and every character has so much character. The gameplay is challenging without being discouraging. I would love to see this game developed further with more upgrade options. Great job!

I really loved this game, it was a hustle trying to cat-ch them thiefs, but that's part of the fun. It would be cool to have more things in the upgrade book to become a better supervisor; the art and animations were amazing, sound design was really satisfying. This game looks really polished and finished.

Visuals are really nicely done, everything feels very polished, audio was great, game fits the theme really well, and it's a very creative concept I'd say! Gameplay feels very smooth, and I love all the little puns in the dialogue!

Saw doggos stealing, my dogs assure me that would never happen. 1 star on realism. :P Otherwise, great game! It's clean, plays well, looks good. Great take on the theme too. Good job.

Wow, this was amazing! So well put together and smooth. Though also a bit hard at times! 😅 Though our game required perception too, so it's fun to see it in a different way.
I wish the store started a little smaller and with fewer types of customers so I could learn the patterns a bit before getting more variety and more area to secure! The text is also a bit small in places like the upgrade screen, but otherwise, this is sublime.
I could see this turning into a full game post-jam, add more tasks like restocking shelves to split the attention and other upgrades (like stock boy), more customer types, etc... Very intriguing! And the puns were purrfect!
Thank you for the feedback! It would have been smart to have less customer types to start with! We did consider restocking shelves after catching the thieves but it was too much for what we had planned haha, and we had some rolling rats to broom and swat away in the list of ideas too!
Such a awesome game. The visuals are cute and animations also. The core loop is really engaging. Everything is explained really well. One of the best games i have played in this jam. Congrats to all of you for making this game.

I think the this is one of my favorite games this whole jam. The art is super cute, the gameplay is fun. It gets pretty tricky keeping track of people as the store grows bigger. The floating eyes are also really cute. This game is super polished. The balance also feels pretty good overall. I don't have anything bad to say about it.

Hahaha, you really hooked me with this game because I'm a huge cat lover. I loved the art and the animations, the game's theme is awesome. I really had fun playing it. I'm saving it to play another day.
