How does the game fit the theme?
"Duel of Betrayals" embodies the theme Trust No One by placing players in a high-stakes Prisoner's Dilemma tournament where four captives compete for their freedom. Every match forces you to decide whether to cooperate or betray rivals like Judas, Brutus, and Cassius (The Divine Comedy traitors), while interrogation rounds let players lie for quick cash or tell the truth to build false confidence. With distinct AI personalities, strategic items, and a Betting House where opponents can backstab each other at any moment, blind trust is your fastest ticket to permanent imprisonment—proving that in this room, you can truly trust no one.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The assets I didn't create during the jam were the 3D art, sprites, sound effects, and fonts. I created everything else myself.

The atmosphere and the sound design are really good. Great job! :)
It’s really interesting; the retro-style rendering suits your game’s theme perfectly. The experience is very smooth—I’ve already beaten the game.
I like the general creative direction. Felt very “Saw”. Also, I didn’t realize Divine Comedy came before Julius Caesar the play…that’s neato.
The one major weakness is that it was really easy to cheese, just buying the item that gives you a ton of money for betraying and then betraying every round
pretty unique and the tension is nice! had to take in alot at first but was worth it otherwise
Very nice graphics and atmosphere. I just dont like games with timers, can not read everything in time :D
Liked the vibe. Even if I didn't win. :D
It's a lot to take in at first, and I don't think the rules page at the start really helps, but it's a common betrayal game so it's easy to get the hang of. I like having able to bet if the players chose the same one or not. The art direction is nice, the creepy aesthetic is there but the game is more about chance and thinking, so I was more relieved haha.
hmmm, i really like how the game looks, but sometimes, i xant read all em text
still, very interesting game tho
The atmosphere and graphics are so well done! The gameplay is a bit foggy for me but the concept is very promising. I think this would be really good as a coop / party game.
sitting across the table from cassius in that ps1 vhs haze asking whether his money is over 100 dollars, then getting pulled into a betting table to wager on whether brutus stabs judas, is a really smart prisoner's dilemma loop. the chromatic static look is great
This was very unique and very cool! I'd love to see it expanded more! Good job!
Very cool art style! love the game :)
Players loved the retro PS1 visuals, eerie atmosphere, and clever "Trust No One" mechanics. A brilliant, highly polished experience—fantastic job!
I really like the idea and the visual style of the game. You ask or are asked questions, choosing whether to cooperate or betray while your rival makes the same choice. You can also buy tools to give yourself an advantage. Solid job on the game!
Great visuals and audio! I wished the fonts of the game was much bigger, I had to squint my eyes to look at the information. Overall, a solid game!
Interesting concept, but I was 4 out of 4. Didn't figure out what questions suppose to mean
Aww.. why they always betrayed me. Need some more playing to be good at this game of betrayal. Good job making this game. Love the PS1 aesthetic. Nice mechanic interpretation of prisoner dillemma experience. Love this!
Great idea and love the vibes. Love the take on the Prisoner's Dilemma.
wow! really well thought, well executed and well done! i really love the visual, especially the static screen effects! good background music and sfx, very eerie scary vibe! good animation too! very polished! feel like playing a ps1 game! good job! spot on for the theme trust no one!
Wow, it was actually a well-thought idea for the theme! I really like how we were able to buy stuff and that affects the money question which is awesome. It's a bit similar to my game, just a smidge! I enjoyed this, good job!
