Really enjoyed playing it and it is by far our favorite game jam game! One small thing though: you could make crates spawn more often since running out of ammo and then having your wanted-o-meter spike up since you can't kill anymore. Overall it was balanced and enjoyable! Great work.
I really enjoyed this game. It took me a bit to get it but once I did it was really fun. Honestly If runs were longer and the game was more fleshed out I could see myself paying for this. Amazing job especially for a solo dev!
thanks, really appreciated :D
Pretty fun game.
It's always game over pretty fast for me, though.
A lot of commenters said they finished easily, but I guess I am just bad at this one. 😆
yeah, might be skill based (or maybe there is some ping? idk xD)
also, props to your game, loved that one :D
Hey thanks a lot! (I just did the music. 😉 )
One of the best games i played so far
happy to hear that :)
Visuals and audio were really nice, and the roguelike system worked quite well imo. UI was definitely a bit cumbersome with how punishing being spotted was, and classic stealth game hiding spots like bushes would've been really appreciated, but it's absolutely a great proof of concept :)
Nice game loop! I like the combat + stealth balance; it was fun run and gunning but due to the ammo scarcity you had to switch modes to stealth and finding chests to accumulate more ammo. I thought the wanted meter was a bit too punishing as I wanted to keep playing before having to restart so often. The rogue like elements of upgrading your stats was also a nice addition. Nice entry!
This was pretty simple but fun, and the pixel art is cute too! I did find the huge wanted bar at the top to be a bit annoying because it blocks some visibility. There was also a good chunk of the game where I lost all my bullets and couldn't get them back for awhile. Which got frustrating as more and more villagers spawned. But I did end up beating the game, and those were my only two issues. Good job!
I really like the simplicity of the pixel art style here, and yet it looks very effective. The overall gameplay, including the upgrade system, is very polished. It’s a shame that the game is a bit short. Still, good job on the design!
The game is short, simple and fun to play! Liked the simple visuals of the game! I think the game can be expanded more, so I won't keep shooting civilians to get coins quickly. Overall a solid game!
Fun and short game. Love the color and simplicity. Hope those i shot quickly recover.
I rated for real this time!
Nice, but short and easy
It was a nice game I enjoyed it a lot. the visuals were great. but it could be easily finished without buying any upgrade
and just killing the civilians beside that It was a great game I love it.
Nice game i really enjoyed it the artstyle is very good and the concept is perfect for the theme good job
Fun game but too short, u can easily finish it in 2 minutes without buying any upgrades
Very fun! I really liked how you restricted the amount of ammo so you really have to think about when you use it. Otherwise I probably would have killed as many people as possible.
I liked this game. I think you made really good design choices to deliver something in time for the jam.
Two main pieces of feedback:
The second play through was much better than the first because everything had already been loaded and initialized. My first play through I had two really large pauses where even the music stopped while things were loading or generating. You should be able to optimistically load things in the background or yield out of hot loops to avoid the hard pauses.
I kept running out of ammo and couldn’t find anymore. The chests only ever seemed to have gold in them. It would have been more fun if I could more easily find more ammo.
thanks for the feedback, i neevr even knew that it might load slowly for some people, so i need to look into that, also about the ammo, yeah, i can try something, but there were also other people that never ran out of ammo xD
The background music has a very western cowboy flavor!! The gun sound effect is quite good. I have already given you the rating.
I'd like to hear your opinion about our game. Thank you!!

I need a sheriff in this game so I’d be afraid to take actions too xD
It’s an engaging game with a really well-crafted UI, I’d love to see more content, though, so it doesn't feel like just repeating the same action over and over. Overall, it’s interesting and has plenty of room to grow, great job!
super fun!! i loved the concept. one thing that annoyed me is how big the wanted-o-meter is at the top and the fact that it isnt opaque so when moving up i dont know if there's a civilian there or not.
also the fact the chests (at least for me) spawned only in the corners and it was hard to get a lot of bullets but that did make me HAVE to be more stealthy instead of just running in gun blazing so maybe for the best.
amazing job!
happy to hear you had fun, yeah, many complained about the wanted-o-meter being big, it's gonna get fixed right after the jam
about the chests, they are supposed to spawn randomly in the world and only have a minimum distance away from the player. so yours must have been bad luck xD
