I'm a big fan of minesweeper so I was excited to give this one a go. Whether or not to trust ones does make the game more challenging and increases the guesswork needed by a good amount. Nice work!

I like this twist to minesweeper. Personally, I think the game is not really playable without the hints on because there's too many 1's that you would have to guess your way through. With the hints I could see which ones not to trust and try to quickly deduce what might be the number or what tiles to not activate. In that way, and considering you have a timer as well,  I felt like the lying numbers could have been more obvious, because the goal is still to figure out what the true value of that number 1 is as quickly as possible. Different coloured numbers also help with that.

Either way, I spent so much time playing your game trying to beat it (but could not) and very much enjoyed myself. Well done.

As a lot of other jammers have mentioned, the game eventually becomes unplayable because you have to guess if the 1 is lying to you or not. Still, a fun and interesting twist on the classic!

We actually landed on the same idea! I like your direction with changing the tiles visually, and the double click to reveal a bunch at once is kinda cool. Great work!

Nice idea. Very well executed. Actually beatable minesweeper with a distinct flavor.

Its a bit confusing and the colours blend in a bit

This is really fun! I found it a little frustrating sometimes finding situations that I couldn't complete without guessing due to the possibility of lying tiles, but overall really liked the experience.

Hi!

Overall, this is a great entry. Neat concept with untrustworthy 1s minesweeper!

Something that was a bit frustrating while playing (based on my understanding of Minesweeper) is that occasionally I'd run into a situation where, as a result of the untrustworthy 1, I wouldn't have enough information to accurately decide where to go next in the puzzle. This would be quite a challenge to sort out and definitely something out of the scope of the jam, but I thought I'd put that in here in case you continue working on this :)

Good entry, and cheers!

What an entertaining concept and fun use of the theme! I am notably buns at minesweeper so I did not get super far, but the settings menu is a very nice touch! One criticism I personally had is I felt like the music was very unfitting for the game, could've used something more ambient but that's just my preference for puzzle stuff lol

i love minesweeper so much, this was perfect!

Tilted and dark tiles are lies! Awesome fake-info Minesweeper game.

It good submission, a well executed idea.

You created a minesweeper generator, that's cool. But the concept of "the ones might be lying" just kinda makes the game harder than it needs to be, kind of unfair even. This comes from someone who absolutely sucks at mine sweeper by the way so don't take it the wrong way, it could just be that I have a giant skill issue.

This is such an interesting concept
