The player follows a journey attempted by countless past versions of the same character. Mysterious messages offer guidance after every defeat, but their source and intentions are unknown. To break the cycle, the player must question the path, the messages, and even the choices made by previous selves

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
3D Models: Blender / Sketchfab
Sound Effects: Pixabay
Unity Packages: Starter Assets, Cinemachine, TextMeshPro, AI Navigation

It is a bit short, but very enjoyable. It feels like a very unique gameplay mechanic, I would love to play a full game like that. Love the unexpected traps

For two days this is cool. Obviously could be a bit longer and maybe with some more of the "future self" thing. But everything that is there is solid, and yeah, the trees got me good. Also tried maybe too many times before realising there was another way apart from beating the skeletons lol. Fun time :]

Took me 3 runs to finish this lmao. Pretty fun game and solid concept. Genuinely impressive for something a person made in 2 days! Hope to see you build on this in the future :D

Game was a little hard and I didn't expect the trees to attack you hahaha. Good progress considering this was made for only 2 days!

it's short and sweet. i got the main ending i belive in my first play through but i can see what should be the usual steps to reach that conclusion usualy. In my second run i talked with the red knight and made the left path with no sword, leading me with no way to attack the blue orb and on the last atempts i tried to defeat the enemies with my sword. im guesing i did it all backwards.

Other than that, the visuals are realy well built and the composition of the scene is prety nice!

Beautiful 3D art, great colors and animations. I like it, even though it's quite short. The attack tree was funny. 😄 Sometimes the camera that follows the player changes the look direction, which makes it difficult to play. Anyway, great job!

I saw that you only had 2 days and it is unfinished which does show, but I think you have a good idea starting out here.

The models are well made, and the post processing gives it a look more polished than perhaps it really is, so actually good job on the visuals. I think I experienced all that was there, finishing both paths and dying a few times in various ways? Those trees are terrifying. Experienced a fair few bugs, some I think could have even been alternate endings (like reaching the end without a sword and just being locked in there!) although maybe narratively those are already alternate endings, and that character is stuck in limbo forever lol.

I look forward to seeing what you can do with more time!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

I didn't have enough time to fully finish, so I appreciate your understanding

I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals and explored both paths, Your "limbo ending" interpretation is pretty fitting hahaha

I'll keep improving the game after the jam, Thanks again!

This is a good game. Great job! It looks really good too. :)

It took me a few tries but I managed to kill all the skeletons and finish the game.

And somehow I did this...

Developer(+1)

I didn't expect that glitch to happen haha :)
Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words!

Played this on stream! Oh my gosh the tree scared me the first time in bonked me!

Developer(+1)

Haha, that tree got quite a few people!
Thanks for playing it on stream and for the feedback, i'm glad it managed to surprise you!

Everything is so beautiful, but I couldn't kill the first soldiers!  maybe they I'm a bad gamer!

I also rated your game; you can try mine!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Maybe the soldiers are a little too strong :)

I played and rated your game as well, and the graphics and interactions are perfect. Great work!

i like the color palette, it's captivating, and the blur effect is interesting

Developer

Thanks! I had fun with the post-processing, so I’m glad you liked it! :)

Looked pretty but the sound effects are really way to loud. I'm not sure I got it since I immediately unlocked "an ending that none of my other selfs"  had found. Maybe just needs a bit more explanation in the beginning. :)

Thanks for the feedback! The idea is that previous versions of the player attempted the same journey but never reached the core.
I agree that this needed a clearer introduction, I’ll also lower the SFX volume.
I only had two days to work on the prototype, so I really appreciate the helpful feedback and thanks for playing! :)
