It doesn't feel as responsive as I'd like, making it difficult in a somewhat uncomfortable way, but it was fun from the second it started! I played till the end, and I can say the levels I hated the most were the one with the blocks and the last one 🤣 Anyway, maybe with a bit more polishing even those can be a bit more enjoyable. The rest of the levels were interesting and the good amount of challenging, in my opinion. The music and the graphics are pretty cool, and it adheres to the theme neatly. Great job!

How does the game fit the theme?
ShroomGuys are scattered in all levels to guide or trick you. You should'nt trust yourself too much either, since the map isn't rigged in your favor.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All assets and every line of code was made in the 7 day duration.

The text/dialogue and music is awesome, though I was struggling a little more then I wish I was.
I HATE and love this game at the same time
it have some bugs but i play all the levels
good game
Nice little platformer with some fun level designs.
My brain is so used to tight controls the movement took some time to get used to.
I'll get to that mushroom though.
The colours palette was really well done along with ambient sound design! The jump felt bit “floaty” it also allowed some interesting momentum based platforming once I got bit used to it. But getting used to it took a while. I would make it the air movement tab bit slower if I had to change something. But I liked the game the Shrooms along with their foolery.
I beat the game but the mushrooms had me angry by the end. Thanks for giving me the pleasure of throwing them in the juicer.
I really enjoyed the art and music, and the gameplay was fun if a bit challenging.
I would recommend having the player decelerate over time when in the air instead of instantly stopping, but that's just a personal preference/feel thing.
I did encounter a bug when I was throwing a mushroom in the juicer where the mushroom was stuck on top of my head and I was unable to move or jump.
Overall really great game and incredible for a first game jam. Well done!
The text was scrolling too fast I didn’t have time to read everything. I liked the concept of the game I gloatingly threw mushrooms. Thanks, it was fun!
I do like a troll game! I do wish the tutorial was a little faster, and some of the platforming felt a little too precise for the character's moveset to quite fit easily, but there were some silly ideas and it made me giggle. In particular a specific sawblade in the last room was really fun.
I enjoyed that ! game has a nice presentation and the puzzles are challenging, last one was tough.
Very cool game! The visuals, transition animations, dialogue - everything is really clean and nice! Great work!
I wanna commend specifically the colorwork here in the visuals, it's really clean! The dialogue is cool and flashy and fun although I wish it was possible to like, press space once to fully progress it or something. There was also a lag spike when particles appear for the first time, which from experience I've learned the solution to that is preloading them invisibly in a title screen or something similar! A cleanly put together game with a simple premise executed pretty well, fun stuff
Very cute art style and loved the little mischievous mushroom! Also i always love an interactive tutorial during game jams - it can take a lot of time to add and this was very well done. I am generally really terrible at platformers & don't play them much so i struggled to get past level 3 lol BUT I'm sure for others who play this game style more, it wouldn't be a problem at all. Great work and sfx throughout - really enjoyed playing (:
The art work is so cute! I love how the tutorial level reveals more and more, instead of having multiple levels. I feel like it sets up the hijinks well. The music is super chill.
The game controls feels a little... off? kinda slidey. Maybe I just need to git gud, but i feel like it wasn't stopping as fast as it should when i stopped pressing a button.
Love the art, and the style of gameplay reminds of i wanna be the guy LOL! Just drives me crazy! But it's awesome!
The visuals and sfx were really nice!
I liked the level design a lot too!
My only critique was it felt like the player took to long to accelerate.
Besides that I had a lot of fun!
Very cute style! I dont usually like ragebait platfromers (idk how the genre is called) and this one raged me a bit, but it was cool! I feel like the spikes hitboxes are a little bit unforgibing
A platformer fueled entirely by "trust issues" was actually on our idea board too!
The art style looks fantastic and the sound effects add the perfect amount of satisfying juice to the actions. That said, I am officially convinced that I am simply too old for this level of precision: level 3 humbled me completely. I can toss the shroom clean into the shroom grinder every time (that satisfying "aaaah!" is pure gold), but sticking the landing afterward is where my platforming skills are missing.
Major Super Meat Boy vibes in the best, most painful way possible. Really fun and punchy entry!
