How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is about Trust no one
so the Cat at first Trust this gorgeous Elegant Disguised Reaper
hoping to grant him a wish but then the reaper turns out to curse the Cat by making him doesn't trust any one .. even HIS OWN BODY!

Love the art style and music! It was fun too! :)
I like the vibe and the art of this game. It's very polished. The gameplay seemed interesting, but honestly I had a hard time figuring out what was going on at times. Still impressive for a jam game! Good job!
I encountered a bug which soft-locked the game:
My opponent played Light which forced me to play a 2 on a 21... and then it just became stuck on my opponent's turn forever.
Loved the game, the visuals are top notch and the concept is great. Just a few things that got in my way:
There are way too many popups. At one point I got cursed, then milk, then cursed again, and the sound they make when they appear is so loud it becomes funny. The running sum of the cards also fades out eventually, which really hurts when I'm being cursed and offered milk three times in a row, because by the time all the minigames are over I've forgotten what number we're on. I'd also love to see it lean a bit more into bluffing, to fit the theme better.
My suggestion would be to make the milk interactable, you click it and then the popup appears, and to have the curse text fade faster once you've read it a first time.
It's beautiful though. One of the most charming games I've played in the jam: charismatic, stylish and really, really cool.
The visual style is insane! this was the most frustrating blackjack experience ever, loved it. I think it would be good to mention to the player that a round doesn't end till you play all your cards/
I was a little confused on how to play honestly. I thought I would keep pulling cards like Blackjack is played solo. The art and music and everything was so superb in this game. I LOVE the whole aesthetic though!
First of all love the presentation and the music, it's got such a strong vibe!
like some others pointed out I encountered some bugs on the web version specifically with the cursor sometimes not registering (I am not quite sure what triggers it, just seemed to happen at random and then it would fix itself) and and I even managed to somehow softlock the game by playing a stop card at one point
The download version however is completely bug free form my experience and I was able to win the game

I love the artwork and overall vibe of the game. It feels polished and very cohesive throughout the game. I did run into a few bugs. Unsure whether or not that was because I was playing on the browser since no one else mentioned it. But the game did feel a bit unresponsive at times, I'd click a card and nothing would happen. And some of the minigames were broken? (or i misread the instructions for it).
Gameplay wise, i think its a cool concept, and fun plot that I could see myself playing a lot of. My only gameplay issue was that, it felt like no matter what I did regarding with the milk. I was punished. Maybe I was just unlucky, but whenever i picked it something bad happened, and when I didn't pick it something bad happened LOL I also really enjoyed the take on not knowing whether to trust yourself and what you see. I couldn't trust him or myself at times

About the milk, it’s actually meant to appear whenever a curse is active. Drinking it doesn’t trigger the curse, but it can either restore a lost life or reduce the time you have for the curse/minigame, which can sometimes make the random card selection happen before you have enough time to react.
That said, your feedback on the milk is actually really helpful! We can definitely see how it might feel confusing, so it’s something we might tweak or communicate better in the future 👀
And yeah, the card responsiveness is a known issue with the browser version that we’re currently fixing. The Windows version should give you the full intended experience!

Fun game! I love the visuals, it's a very stylish game. It felt a little hard to pick cards sometimes but I really liked it overall. I could never resist the milk and I love all the cat puns lol. Only thing I would say it could use is perhaps a sound effect when you put a card down. Very fun game!
