How does the game fit the theme?
Your character doesn't fully trust you, so sometimes it decides to live a life of its own. :) Also you can't trust every animal you meet, becouse everyone desn't want to hope
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used a few CC0-licensed assets that were not created by me. All other game-specific code and assets were created by me during the jam. (Cat sprite and animations, sound effects)
How many people worked on the game?1

Cute game! Super short, wish it had more funny controls gimmicks. Animal sprites are super adorable! The only thing I'd recommend is to have bool variables or something for the story events to not trigger the second time if you step on them again.
Cute game! It was short but fun experience :D
I have some tips/feedbac for u:
1. The dialogue text shouldn't cover the most importatnt part of the game - main character
2. I like the paralax background, but try making the one in the very backgroud move slower - it creates the impression of 3d.
But in general - well done!
I’m glad the story had a happy ending! It would be great if it were a bit longer, but keep it up!
Wow, that was fast!
I am a huge fan of the setting and most of the sprites looked super cute! That said, the overall visual style felt a bit disjointed: the pixel sizes varied a lot across different assets, and the UI suddenly went super crisp and clean by comparison.
Personally, I would have loved a bit more walking, exploring, clue hunting, or light platforming instead of heavy dialogue sequences, but that is just my personal taste.
Still, a really charming concept and great effort for the jam!
Love the story in this game. You really portray the anxiety that Kate is feeling when they start questioning if they should trust the inputs of the player. The cat's animation was also really smooth! One thought to bring the graphics to the next level would be to avoid mixing different sizes of pixels. Having all the pixel art the same size can make everything look intentional and cohesive. Fun game!
Really cute short game, I'm glad there is a happy ending :D
loved the vibe but I would only suggest to allow to click to continue dialogue because at first I didn't understand how until I tried a few buttons and found out it was enter
Great job sticking to the theme too, very nice game :D (also both are games are centered around getting a cat back home so that's kinda funny xD)
fun take on the theme! i just wish the story was a bit longer haha, and maybe move the text box to the top or make it smaller as it takes up quite a large space on the screen :)
really cute games it is short I want more
animals are really cute
Cool game, would love to see more content on this! Loved the inverted controls!
Short but sweet, I would have liked to see the cat mess with our input some more.
I didn't completely love it to be honest, but the cat's movement scheme was nice
At the end, when I saw the car coming, I honestly thought the worst for a second 😅 Anyway, really cute game!
The visuals are great and I have to mention - good job with the UI! Other than that the gameplay and theme aren't really there, but could be made into a very touching story regardless of the gameplay. Good job either way.
I enjoyed the experience, although it was a bit too short. Like what violet has suggested maybe slowing the player down a bit and adjusting where the dialogue box is located (it could move to the top of the screen and maybe shrink it down just a bit).
Yeah, thanks for feedback
Cute animals and nice animation! My only complaint is that it was too short lol.
A few small suggestions: maybe the dialogue box could be placed at the top so it doesn’t cover the characters. The character also moves a little too fast, so slowing them down a bit might feel better. Adding some little sound effects during the dialogue would also make the conversations feel more lively!
Thank you for your feedback! Your game is awsome! I really like your art style (and the fact you use Unity ofc 😅) Maybe I'd use somewhere less dialogues or cutscene instend of it, but it is awsome! Nice work
By the way I am looking for someone to rate with (it isn't so fun alone) and you seem like you enjoy it! Don't you want to make a "rating team"? 😅
Haha sure, that sounds fun! I’ve actually been having a lot of fun going through everyone’s games. A rating team sounds way better than doing it alone lol. Feel free to send me any interesting games you find!
Good graphics and good game! I didn't understand how it fit the theme though…
Thanks. The cat doesn't really trust you,So in like half, She starts doing the opposite of what you want
