I really like the psx/ps2 visual style the game has, I also like the use of lighting and the shaders which adds the experience. The overall atmosphere for the game is immaculate, like some of the other comments I do think a slight movement and driving speed increase would've been nice. But overall this was a really awesome experience that had me hooked from start to finish.

I wish you all the best on any future projects/jams you work on.

I absolutely enjoyed this game, it gives off plague inc vibes mixed with necromancy + possession. The game loop is super addictive and I kept playing even after obtaining the ending. The pixel art style is very pleasing to look at and the sound effects really gave off plague inc (with the music) and I also love the sound effects the inquisition would make as they would run in, I loved hearing more and more of the sound effects playing as more and more would spawn in.

Overall, amazing work, especially as a one man army. You have made an amazing game. I wish you all the best in any future projects/jams.

Reminds me a lot of games like hand sim and hand sim : survival with the gameplay. I like how you have to move around the contents of the plate to check for hazards, along with that I like the inclusion of a score system. This made me want to do my best and try to achieve 4 or 5 stars.

The game has a charming visual style, the music and sound effects of the game are quite nice, but I really loved hearing the voice acting. Not too many games in the jam have done it (good job and amazing execution).

Having the voice acting honestly got me engaged and it immersed me further into the world of your game. The game managed to reflect the theme of trust no one really well. Good job on your game, and I wish all you the best of luck in any future projects/jams.

This is a super fun experience, I love having to second guess myself and every action that I will be making. I like the 8 bit styled music and I love the art style of the game, it gives me vibes to a game boy game.

Awesome game that reminds me a lot of Plague inc, with the added twist being to abuse the trust that humanity has in you. The person who is controlling every facete of the world they live in this is  super neat experience that feels like a complete experience.

I like how simple and fun the game is, some of the prompts are funny and the combinations are entertaining.

However it would be nice if some audio was added to the game, like clicking audio for whenever the player clicks, some background music, sound effects for when a post is being liked/engaged with.

Overall good game, it could just use some audio.

Very addicting game that is soothing and super easy to get into. The clicking, collecting, and mixing of pigments is quite satisfying. The calming music and visuals of the game absorbed me into the experience and I ended up finishing the game before I knew it.

Really cool experience, I did jump a bit when I got jump scared early on in the game. I like how you have to go up and check everything in the house hold (I like the dialogue that appears when you interact with pieces of furniture in the 'house').

The audio for the game is phenomenal and built up the tension and uneasiness for me, the visuals give me vibes to the ps2 styled horror games.

Really awesome showcase of development skill, the gameplay is super fun and addicting.

A nice experience that was easy to learn, I really like the visuals and the music is super nice as well.

I cannot believe how evil the signs are, I also cannot believe that got rick rolled.

Awesome game experience, I like the slow changing to what I assume is the ship health ui in the top left, along with the wording. The mini-games were quite enjoyable to do, even if they did take a bit of learning (mainly the o2 dial one).

I got stuck when it came to the main quest, I for the longest time had no idea where room 2 was, after finding it I got stuck trying to find oil for the door that would lead into the third section of the 'ship'.

Thank you,

I appreciate the feedback and will make sure this gets passed along to the team, so that if we pick it up again in future we know what we could focus on :).

Thank you, I will have to play your game to see what these more evil signs do.

I will also let our artist know you appreciated their voicing acting lol.

Thank you, we didn't think to have the narrator say anything different upon replaying the game. I think the idea mostly slipped by us, along with the time constraints of balancing the jam and other day to day activities.

I will ensure these suggestions get passed along to the team.

Thank you, I’m glad that you and your friend had fun! I will make sure to pass along your feedback (especially the meat grinder part lol).

Not even trusting yourself is an awesome concept to include, and yeah that's game jams for you. We had to cut somethings as well. Hopefully in your next jam you are able to get in more of what you want to.

Thank you, I will do a pass over of the game again and hopefully we can find what line is repeating (should be an easy fix). Also I never thought of making the hidden rooms more subtle after the first one, it could've made finding them feel more rewarding. But that would need testing to verify that, still I will keep this in mind if we ever decided to continue working on this project and expand upon it.

Awesome noir game, I loved the build up and set up that was done. I liked how important pieces where highlight via the lighting and how there were extra areas you could explore (even if you have to give mr detective a bit of a push lol). The game conveys the theme of trust no one really well, good job!

I enjoyed playing your game, it was quite fun to play and decided who enters the castle and who does not. Some problems I found:

1: In the players house the door, bed, and barrel have no collisions so the player can walk right through them.

2: On occasions I had the same person appear 2-3 times in a row, which threw me off quite a bit.

Overall though I enjoyed the experience, I really like the voxel art style and I loved the music. The music gave off legend of zelda vibes (which made me feel like I was going on an epic adventure/trying to keep a great evil away from the kingdom).

The lack of any audio (especially for feedback) makes it hard to know if I am doing something and if I am doing it correctly. Beside that this is a neat and fun concept with visuals that are really nice to look at (the font also compliments the art).

Awesome game, I loved how each character feels different, I love how encounters play out. I was monitoring what was happening each turn, I also done a lot of betrayal kills, but I did befriend the giga Chad Goblin (having an extra 4 damage every three turns is a bonus).

I loved the art style of the game (especially the little goobers). The like the audio and the inclusion of spoken dialogue which helped to further set up the overall tone of the game for me.

Had a blast playing Late Night Pawn Shop. I loved being able to low ball customers and upsell customers (I beat the game by night 5). I vibed hard to the music and loved how the atmosphere was conveyed through the lighting and art style.

I really enjoyed the game, it was easy to pick up and learn. I loved all of the little jokes and nods towards different pieces of media and memes. The music was awesome and the art style was really cosy.

I enjoyed the experience, although it was a bit too short. Like what violet has suggested maybe slowing the player down a bit and adjusting where the dialogue box is located (it could move to the top of the screen and maybe shrink it down just a bit).

Viva la Franks!

I really like your game, it is super easy to pick up and play, I have had a blast going through the game. I really like the music and the visual style. I had a good time playing it :)

For a project made by one person it came out alright. I would've liked to see more gameplay (after the the plane crashes it seems like there is not a lot of content). The game was also very confusing for me, after the plane crash I had no idea how to proceed beyond that point. I was just rapidly spam clicking until something happened (I imagine that this is not intended).

A way to prevent that could be providing information on your itch.io game page about the controls of your game.

I also like the 8-bit music :)

We are looking into fixing these, we are glad to hear that you like the Narrator and Bert.

Yes, our artist made all of our models (they especially love Bert).

I wanted to thank everyone for the comments and all of the feedback, I am not sure when we will post a more updated version of the game, but if and when we do, I will do my best to chuck a link to it here or on the Space Connectron page itself.

Thank you, I am looking into having a permanent crosshairs on the screen and I am looking into fixing the funny cable physics glitch lol

Thank you for taking the time to look, could you tell me what made it hard (I know of problems relating to how we done the cables (i.e the cable with the 2 yellow female units being confusing on what side to connect to what. Was it a problem of feedback, controls, ui, a combination of a few of the above or a mix of all of the above?)

Thank you, I will look into trying to aim (I am already looking at having the crosshair permanently on screen, I may also look into seeing if I can get a highlight going on the cable head pieces when the player is looking at them)

Thank you, this is some really good feedback and is something I will implement :)

Thank you, I will make sure to pass this along to the team, and yeah it was a pain getting the web build done lol

Some context but me and a majority of the team members have expressed interest in continuing this piece outside of the jam, so feel free to provide any feedback that you may have for us :).

Thank you all so far for the comments, they have been very kind and have given us some feedback  :).

Thank you, I will bring this information to the team when we next speak!
