How does the game fit the theme?
This game is a detective-puzzle based game, where you have to figure out relationships based on their dialogs, and figure out who the killer is, you cannot trust anyone

Good Game
Very cool game and i really liked the artstyle being low poly psx style with the player character having drawn hands as well as the items.
Thank you so much! We worked hard on the assets!! I appreciate that you also like the hands and items since I was the artist for those : D
Cool game! The art style is really good, and you do need to pay attention to what the npcs are saying. The only issue for me is the way the dialogues appear immediately when approaching an npc, since some npcs are a bit hidden and the dialogue appears really close so you have to adjust to be able to read. Other than that, great job!
Thank you!!! The dialogue issue is something we also took notice but deadlines lmao, we appreciate the feedback!! <3
I really liked the take on the Mafia deduction game. Had a lot of fun.
Keep up the good work!
Great job! Really like the art style, especially the hand drawn assets. the animations look great too!
The idea is fun and well executed! Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like the roles change every time you fail a level, which is really cool. Curious how you guys pulled that off if the roles are chosen randomly.
My only critique: switching between NPC dialogues means walking away and back, which gets annoying. A button to cycle through dialogues would've been nice.
Well done!
Actually, going to the next dialogue for the npc is "SPACE". We should've put the controls in game but alas. Thank you for the feedback and we will surely learn from it for the next jams we might join <3
I was pretty confused how to play and got really annoyed because the frame rate
was terrible at first... Then I noticed it was only bad when I went full screen mode! So, I'm glad it actually runs good normally
I like the way that stuff is animated and the characters look nice. Given the time restraint this is good!
This was a neat entry that packed so much personality and charm into a solid detective game. Well done!
Thank you, cheers!!
cool game
Thank youuu!!nice comment!!
Really cool style and atmosphere. The idea is fun and the detective gameplay works well, even if the clues can feel a bit vague sometimes. I enjoyed the intro and the overall vibe a lot. ☺
Thank you!!! I agree with the clues being vague but that's just how gamejams is with time restraint lmao
Yeah, I get you. We went through the same thing, with the jam’s time crunch.
I really like this game. It's great that there was a more artistic introduction that built the mood. The gameplay itself was quite enjoyable, but I missed a bit of a build-up to the situation in each level. There was a murder story, but it was very unspecific. I had the most trouble with the final level. I've played it many times, and I think the problem isn't the number of clues, but rather the lack of specificity, which sometimes meant I simply couldn't draw any conclusions. I like the combination of 2D and 3D graphics and the UI in general and the strings are very nice. Overall, I enjoyed playing, it's a great game ♥
With so many roles and so few victims, I'm not sure how to actually come to a logical deduction about the killer. Also, I don't see any connection between someone owning a weapon, a description of a weapon, and that weapon being used in a murder (especially being used by its owner, since everyone seems to have access to all the weapons anyway lol)
love the style of this game, especially the sketchy handdrawn animations paired with low-poly 3d models. it gives off the charming handcrafted personality a lot of modern games are missing! the game itself was short and simple but I still had a good time. with only 3 levels, I didn't really find myself having to understand each role, although I do see a lot more potential with this format. while playing i was hoping we'd get into some situations where, say, someone claims another person is a forensic but the person is an outlier, and you'd have to reason through whether or not to trust their judgement creating a bit more of a logic puzzle. regardless, this was a cool little game especially for something made in just 1 week!
Really cool game! I love this kind of stuff. I took me a while and reread the description several times to get how it works, but once I got it it is pretty cool investigate who is the killer, good work!
Nice game, I like the style, it’s effective. Sometimes, because of the randomness, I ended up in a situation where I hadn’t any clue to work the case… Good concept though, I enjoyed playing it!
Yoo, the intro is so cool, good job. I also like the gameplay, graphics and overall atmosphere)
Really fun and simple. The menu and UI is very clean and polished and I liked the intro cutscene. There are some issues with the talk boxes an it would have been easier if switching out the wepon immidiately made them switch to the new lines instead of having to move away and back to see the new dialogue, encountered some camera gltiches that stopped it from moving in a ceirtan direction but it was not game breaking and fixed itself after a few seconds.
More sound design could have deffinetly made this much more immsersive.

Really enjoyed a detective game for this theme and it was definitely tricky piecing together the puzzle between each person to narrow down on the killer each time. I also liked the menu/camera tilt to pick your level, very nice touch. I had a hard time keeping track of who was who because the models were similar but that's obviously a jam constraint :) Well done!
Interesting game dynamics. It would’ve been cool to have more information and a deeper investigation within the same level. That would make me feel like I was in an Agatha Christie crime novel ahah. Some music could also help shape that vibe
yeah I agree with the more information and deeper investigation, would definitely like to implement that and add more music too, appreciate the feedback, cheers!
The gameplay is very good, i wish there is more than one level
Im pretty sure there is 3, Thanks for playing!
Ah sorry i mean three, my bad 🙏
Like the gameplay! had to really brainstorm to find out the real killer in each level! The controls was a bit off to understand! Visual style is very nice for this game! Cheers! Would love to see many levels ahead.
Thats good to hear! Thank you our playing our game!
