How does the game fit the theme?
There are werewolves among the humans. You have to identify them and kill them before they reveal themselves.

You can't trust any human.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The tree generator code i used for the border, sway shader, i think those are all i borrowed from my other projects.

How many people worked on the game?

This was one of the more fun and suspensful games I played. The first game I failed super quick. The second game I got the hang of it. Main complaint is that the instructions are cut off when not in full-screen mode so it was hard to understand what to do. Great little game overall!

Developer

Thank you, I'll make sure to fix the UI

Really dug this one, spying out the infected was just difficult enough, and the actual combat felt satisfying and great.  Pixel art style while simple was consistent, appealing, and had a good vibe.  Nice satisfying sound effects too.  Great work!

Developer

Thank you

A really nice mixture of deduction and speed. Identifying the infected was a bit hard at first but when I got the gist of it the game was really fun and rewarding!

Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thank you

Fun loop. Too bad I couldn't finish a "0 non-infected deaths" run.

Developer(+1)

Yeah lol neither did i haha, thank you!

This is the best game I've played so far in this jam!

Developer

those shotgun blasts were really fun, I may have spent the first play through just shooting everyone :D
Love the xray implementation too!
Had a bit of a bug, when playing embedded the text around the edges was cut off, and when going to full screen the game was in the top right corner cut off as well, then collapsing and going back into full screen it worked but definitely wasn't made for an ultrawide monitor lol. May be an itch issue, but once I started playing in the embedded mode it was fine.

Thanks dude, well yeah i think its on my side i never was good with UIs

Incredibly cool concept and execution. Art and animation was great as well. Only nitpick would be that the scroll wheel/tool wheel is very hard to control while on a laptop and using trackpad. Might be worth adding like the numbers as quick selection option for each weapon.

Developer

Yeah  the game has some poor accessibility, mainly stems from my lack of late stage game dev experience. I’ll definitely keep it in mind for next time. Thank you for taking the time!

I REALLY liked this, the mood was unsettling, the title is incredibly strong, and the art is surprisingly fitting with the tone. Music was very moody too. I especially liked the way I was actually able to deduce things by analyzing social patterns and physical features, in a way that feels organic to a video game. Only major criticism is that the UI felt very out of place, and having a big wall of text show up for a tutorial was the only thing that took me out of the tone the game was giving me. Super sick concept with a clean and unnerving execution.

Developer(+1)

Thanks dude! And yeah, I really hate the UI too I was physically cringing while making that wall of text explaining the game. Since I was making the main game by myself, I just didn’t have enough time to polish up the UI. Thanks again this mean alot!

This was a very interesting concept. Fits the theme very well. Needs music and some polish after the jam and would be a great game!

Developer

Thank you for taking the time, dude. I really appreciate it!

Interesting idea. Quite a macabre. I like the pixel art but with the low resolution it was difficult for me to judge the symptoms so I did many things at random - maybe that's by design? I could not get it to work full-screen properly.

Developer(+1)

Thanks dude! Yeah i didn’t have enough time to implement a better pixel perfect solution for the symptoms, and I just didn’t have enough time to polish the UI. Thanks again!

Absolutely amazing game that perfectly fits the theme! My only complaint is that there is no music

Developer

Thanks dude! i think the music is bugging out for you, my bad i gotta fix that up.
