Nice game! I really like the notebook part, but tbh I did not need that. Also, some people are saying endings so I'm guessing anyone could've been accused, and obviously there was only one correct answer! This reminds me of the old-days point-and-click on y8, you all crushed this!
Thanks for playing. It was indeed a little extra the notebook. If I had more time I wantes more interaction with it. Yes but the endings are all a bit the same not really that special.
That was a great experience, you nailed it with the art and UI. Collecting those keywords felt very juicy, awesome work!
Thanks for playing, glad you liked my art.
Why the HECK would Leo do that to the poor gnome... a deeply messed up game... with a dark secret... it was very fun though! The twist was cute and the artstyle is very storybook in a way that felt nostalgic. The book wasn't something I felt like I particularly needed to use but it was a cool layer of polish that worked well. Music also looped a little weirdly, but the game is pretty short so nothing major! What a fun time.
I'm happy you liked the game and the ending. Might be darker than you think.... ever thought where the dad is?? What is that dog bone in the garden???
the art is pretty cool :D , wish there was more, it was a lil laggy w me but probably because of my bajillion tabs lollll, great stuff!
Yea must been your tabs, cause the game isn't big xD. If we had more time I would have made it much longer and more fun interactions.
very cute! It was a game that evoked a sense of nostalgia! The quality was incredibly high
Thanks for playing!!
I like the art and the game design so much. I tried every ending, and I regret blaming buster!
Blaming buster is the only real good ending sorry! I'm happy you liked the game!
Real solid adventure. I'd like to see finding clues progressing the conversation and provide more clues, but I know you only had a week. Great job!
Yes it was my goal to do that, to have more interaction but didn't had enough time.
I LOVED the visuals such cusy art style, I also love that the game never tells you if you are correct or not XD
Thanks for playing. I'm happy to hear you liked the endings.
that was all around a great experience, good job!
Thanks, im happy you liked all of it!
Very nice cute game! I guessed it was the dog in the first few seconds because of the paw prints and I'm glad to see my intuition was correct haha. Well done!
Congrats on findinf the real ending that fast good intuition!
Very fun game! Visuals are really good and the game feels very polished!
Thanks for playing!!
Very cute game, I enjoyed it! I love that you can gather all the evidence and organize it yourself, and the effect that plays when you click on clue words is very fun!
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked the effects!
Very cool game! I like the personality on each of the characters and how they interact with each other! My only feedback is the ending for each one of them doesn't really that satisfying (though I love that you can also blame yourself lol) which I assume is intentional? I do wish there were like a "true" ending of some sorts (or maybe I missed it). Cute artstyle but the music feels so ominous for such a cutesy game xD. Overall, this was pretty fun! Great work!
Glad you liked the game. The true ending is with the dog , but it's not so clear. Didn't had enough time to really make it more clear.
Ahhh yeah, I figured the dog made the most sense! Completely understandable! That's how game jams are! xD
Wow! The game turned out really great haha 😄 I loved that every character has their own story and their own ending. Poor dog though :D
Thanks for playing, atleast the dog didn't get punished ;)
I love the style of this game and the basic premise! The music sounds really nice too.
Thankf for playing, glad you liked it!
A very cute whodunnit game! Sure it's a basic take on the theme, but it's very well-polished and executed!
I ended up accusing the dog xD.
Thanks for playing! You picked very good ending :)
High level of polish. Having to manage the clues yourself was a nice touch and something I have not seen before (granted I don't play the genre a lot).
Also the perfect amount of time for me for a game jam. 5 stars ⭐
Thanks for playing and this wonderful feedback!!
Lovely and Very Creative Game. Well done, and keep it up
Thanks for playing!
What a cute and lovely entry.
There's not very much I can say other than very nice amount of polish in this short amount of time.
Congratulation on finishing strong.
"Strongest" Category (in my opinion): Visuals
"Biggest room for growth" Category (in my opinion): Innovation
Thanks for playing and the feedback. I surely agree on your point!
You guys have managed to put together the vibe of the game very nicely. I also appreciate that you included different endings according to who the player picks as the culprit! Theme was clearly executed, good job. Nothing particularly innovative, but it was executed well. And above all, great job completing the game!
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I found it quite hard to think of anything new unique with this theme but I'm still enjoyed making this game and learning a new art-style.
