How does the game fit the theme?
You're investigating a crime scene, you'll need to trust the hints from the neighbors, but how much can you trust them?

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Sounds, most of them coming from freesound.org

How many people worked on the game?

Really nice game! Art and audio are nice, and the game fits the theme well! I liked having to puzzle everything together, and woah I did not see that twist coming XD

Very much enjoyed playing this one, keep it up :D

Thank you for playing and for the kind words!

Haha, I guessed the correct guy as a joke, because I thought it would have a funny line like some of the other people. I really enjoyed putting the names and faces together.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for playing!

I really couldn’t trust anyone! It was a really interesting idea, and the sound design was great too. Great job!

Thank you for playing!

And well done on your game, it was funny to jump around and see the story unfold after talking with each character. Original gameplay!

Thanks a lot!

Damn that was a twist I wasn't expecting. Really liked the art style. Good job

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Love the style on your game too!

Really fun! I definitely missed something in an initial conversation, but I got close enough to get everything figured out in the end. Love the twist, and great job with the theme.

Thank you for playing!

I like the top down perspective, it makes the game feel unique.  The sound effects are also very good.  Very fun game, great work!

Thank you!

could not figure it out, maybe i missed something. but the art looks nice and the setup works well for the theme of the jam.

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Unfortunately it seems like I'm the one who missed something, there are not enough hints :(

I'll try better next time for sure!

Thank you again.

Really well packaged game; just long enough, just hard enough, great job! I managed to solve it but through trial and error; not sure what information I missed to get it right!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Yes the lack of information is a mistake on my part, plus there is no way to get hints when you're stuck. So there are two points I need to be careful about for future games!

lots of fun things in this, really well done!

Sweet and short detective game! I liked the mechanic of matching faces with names, had fun, and also enjoyed the plot twist in the end :)

Developer

Thank you!

I got it! But I missed something at the start of the game and had to restart. I loved it!

Developer

Thank you for playing!

Yes after some friends played the game it was a recurring issue, I thought I got smart by adding "hard hints" but it's just dumb if you can't ever get them again in any way, lesson learned!

Will I be able to ask for the solution to the puzzle later? I’m not sure if I’m using the book correctly. I really like the writing, btw ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you for trying!

The goal of the book is to match the face and name of all the people of the story.

When you're done with this step, you can try and guess the culprit.

If I had more time, I would have added tips from the policeman, sorry :(

The concierge says something that helps you know who lives in which appartment, and then on each appartment door if you click you get a hint of the names of their inhabitants. I hope that helps enough to get you un-stuck

I played your game by the way, loved the funky artstyle, well done!
