How does the game fit the theme?
You are an employee at a magical pawn shop. Customers are trying to sell you their wares, but are often lying about their value. If you take them at face value, you'll get scammed. In this profession, you can't afford to trust anyone.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Two free fonts from Google Fonts, and a Godot plugin called DialogueManager. All else is original.

How many people worked on the game?

Liked: Really in depth rules. I love the amount of stuff there is in the game and different things you need to check.

Could Improve: Right now it's too much information all at once. If you improve upon this my suggestion would be to drip feed the rules starting with an example of what a correct object looks like, then an incorrect one before randomizing it.

Additional Comments: I'll be honest I'm really bad at this game. I just didn't trust anyone and got fired XD. But this is a really good amount of content in this improving the pacing and having some juice in thee ui will make this shine.

Really nice concept and cool art! It took me a bit of time tho to read all the rules, but when u get the hang of it, it is pretty fun! I also liked the audio feedback for the crystal balls.

This is excellent! Everything feels very polished - I'm so impressed you had this done in a week. The art and music and fx all go together very well. The rules are quite extensive for a jam, but they make enough sense and are organized so you kind of can remember them once you get going.

I really don't have any negatives to share - I really liked everything about it. I added this one to my favs list to try again later.

Nice game, it felt well thought and the pixel art is great!

I'd love to see an RPG made with those assets and menus.

Good work.

It's a cool game . some items i think do need more expounding on the description but overall good

It's really cute and very adorable game. the guide book really helps.. tho think adding a bit more description on items of any ways of inspecting an item would add alot polish to the game.

Also instant feedback on getting something right and wrong would do great.
Great job overall <3

This is really cute! I like the little bits of lore you learn from what the items do, and how there are a bunch of different combinations. I did buy the bean.

Very fun.  By the end I really felt like I connoisseur of fine magical items, with no patience for these good-for-nothin's who come into my store and think they can fool me!  ..... *Ahem*..... Great work!

We need more Papers please esque games, very cute and fun

Gotta love a fantasy version of paper please, Good game if you make it into a fully made version i'd recommend introducing a new item each day instead of all at once or players might get overwhelmed
