How does the game fit the theme?
The upgrade system directly incorporates the theme through deception and risk. Between rounds, players are offered upgrade cards, including hidden "TRUST ME" choices that can either grant powerful buffs or punish the player with negative effects. Players cannot blindly trust the power-ups offered to survive.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
All core code logic, GDScript systems, and pixel art assets were created during the jam using Godot 4. External assets used: "Pixel Rand.otf" font and royalty-free audio effects/music.

Well done, wish you added a fullscreen button
In the description it says where it is :)
Very satisfying to kill the enemies, good controls and nice visuals. The way the theme is covered with the upgrades is very original.
I like the concept of the game, but I would execute it a little bit differently.. I think stunning the player too often would ruin the gameplay and disrupt a lot of the momentum going. You could punish the player by locking their weapons or hindering the sight even more, but I would typically avoid stunning the player too frequently. I like enjoy the music
Overall, I had quite a fun time playing it but at times felt unfair when playing it.
I had a lot of fun playing it. The soundtrack is great and I love the way you implemented the "Trust no one" theme with the cards that pop up when you level up and the health packs. Combat also felt really satisfying.
The game idea is good and the game was a lot of fun.
I didn't quite catch what started damaging me in the mid-game xD
Overall, it's a good game, easy to get hooked on. It would be cool to get upgrade cards instead of text, though, I don't really feel like reading, I just want to go pew-pew-boom-boom without stopping to read xD
The game is super fun! At first, I wasn't sure how it fit the theme, but then I ran into the “Trust Me” system and it all clicked. It's a really nice mechanic, and I honestly think this could do really well on mobile. It feels much more creative and enjoyable than a lot of the generic stuff you usually see there.
quite the enjoyable experience, the gameplay is fun and the overall game is well made too, good job!!
Had the same issues when I accidentally selected an upgrade while shooting, but other than that I enjoy playing your game! I wonder what the Disabled Tutorial button is for cause when I unselected that it did not really add a tutorial?
The background music has a very strong rhythm. I have rate your game.I'd like to hear your opinion about our game. Thank you!!

Good sound track ….. also good game please rate my game
Nice submission.
Could not launch in fullscreen; made reading text hard on my 4 K monitor.Saw the other commentThe selection choices appear slightly off-centre or delay the click by half a second. It was too easy to click accidentally while shooting.
What a great soundtrack! Had fun playing this. It could be my slightly older macbook, but it did freeze a couple times for me
I also didn't realize there was a full screen button until I came to vote. Definitely scales up fast and you need to be quick on your feet, but very fun to play!
Nice game! Quite active :D
Fun game, Im missing a fullscreen button? Also a bit wider view light would be good, love the concept of a game with upgrades with just trust me... xD Amusing and repeatable. Great submission.
