Well done for doing that all by yourself! It’s a brilliant idea and the name is spot on!

How does the game fit the theme?
You talk with strangers walking by your tent.
You can't trust them, because they could be spirits.
You have to pay attention to the answers to your questions to protect yourself from spirits.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Code: Shaders for tent door effect and fear effect, they are credited inside the game.
Assets: All of the audio is source from FreeSound.org under Creative Commons 0

A very cool approach to the topic. I really like the character design and the way the tension is built. As someone who doesn't play horror games much, I really felt this distrust of anyone in my bones. Maybe it would be nicer if I had a little more time to close the tent, literally a split second would give me a little more time to look at this character and even think about the fact that I have to close this tent. Overall, a very great idea and I also like the deeper backstory. Good job! ♥
Thanks for playing and for the kind words!
Yes, I agree, the jumpscares are too punishing.
I didn't have much time to test this, as I've fully implemented them in the last night of the jam and by then, my irl friends which were my testers were all asleep, haha. I need to get some international testers to prevent things like this :)
Super fun, creative and suspenseful. It's got so much potential! Trying to zip up the tent in time as soon as you figure out that they're fake is quite engaging. I thought it was a little too difficult to zip it up in time, because the zipper kept getting stuck multiple times.
I love the stuck zipper mechanic, it feels so real! The concept is cool, but in my opinion, it lacks feedback on certain event I feel like I'm taking random damage sometime.
Great job!
10/10 game ! The mechanic is so creative !! WELL DONE IN SUCH A SHORT TIME BRO ! small game but soo good, beware some people are spirits !
When the zipper got stuck while a spirit was coming, I felt it was almost impossible to survive without getting hit, which is a bit unfair...
But overall, the fear mechanic and having to figure out if people are real or not are well implemented. Good job!
Interesting Idea and mechanic with tent zip. Im not sure what happen when I do not open the tent - it seems that Im always safe ?
I have played games like this. It's really nice, but the zipper literally made it impossible :P I couldn't even get through more than 1-2min in the game!
nice little game with a fun tactile idea. the zipper being annoying is kinda the whole charm, and once you get used to it the simple loop feels good. the stuck mechanic works, though it could use clearer feedback since at first it feels like an input bug. the atmosphere is solid and the small jumpscare hits well. overall a cute and fun entry built around one goofy interaction. (pls play my game)
the zipper is really annoying, but i guess it's part of the immersion haha. But really, i like the simple gameplay revolving the goddamn zipper! Its cute and fun!
Thanks for playing!
I'm glad you had fun despite how the zipper works.
It actually has some feedback, it should shake and play a sound (a gun cocking sound actually lol). Maybe it got glitched or maybe this isn't obvious enough.
But I also got this feedback from testing before release, that the stuck mechanic can be confusing. Maybe I could make it work better, but I think it's not worth confusing the player over this.
I love the tactile interaction and the hilarity of saying goodbye to a child that just told you they were scared and alone. I had fun!
Love the atmosphere the game creates and the design that zip gets stuck by chance.
