How does the game fit the theme?
You must tend to your Homunculus, but they will sneakily try and use the items you give them to try and escape.

Wow, this is really good!
Mine died, though. 😂
Innovative idea, and the artwork looks great!
I thought harvesting the homunculus juice was a bit difficult. But I finally got it to work.
Really fun game ! I like the idea and how it turned out ! It kinda gives post-apocalyptic / dystopian vibes !
Damn this game has a standalone game potential. Continue to your project pls. Great work.
Hands down, this has to be the most fun I've had with a game for a good while. I think every aspect is near perfection tbh.
Graphics: I love the design of the Homunculuses a lot, they are pretty weird. Like you collect these fat toads toxins and, thats my profit? Love it. The details, are also so nice, you might even say juiced up... Bad pun, sorry. The menu and buttons are so well done, with the title letters changing sizes to the buttons reaction to hovering on them. I laughed when I saw some of the names of the Homunculuses, Ligma and Anklebiter being my favorites.
I also loved the modeling of the room and the area. I have no idea what kind of setting this game is in, but it works flawlessly. Having the player have teleconesis instead of the usual "carrying" system is such a cool detail.
Gameplay: The game continues to shine in this aspect. It feels almost like an incremental game. It started a little confusing, but I quickly caught on how to play the game. I laughed so hard when one of the Humonculuses died so I turned it into organic charcoal. In rearview, that was a little dark.... I then fed the organic charcoal to another one of the Homunculi, they then proceeded to escape. Montiering the stimulation of the Homunculi with the different items felt a little like risk it for the biscuit. We have the usual suspects: Digging out, becoming smart enough to lockpick a door and calling for help to a UFO which picks them up so you have to burn the radio. Just the usual.
This has to be also one of the most funny games in the jam. The humour was spot on. The attention to detail was insane. The graphics were really well made and the game was fun as hell.
PLEASE CONTINUE MAKING GAMES 🙏🙏!!!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
It was fun seeing a first person 3d incremental in action. I think if I were to add anything, maybe some hints they're getting too smart or about to decide to dig or the like. Like, you have to let them do things so they've got a good mood, but it's hard to know if they're about to need their toys taken away, for instance. I did run into a bug, maybe a bug? The radio went off on me and I couldn't turn it off or stuff it in the incinerator, so I lost like all but two of the little guys. Not sure if that was on me or not. Overall, well done!
Thank you for playing! Yeah that one seems to have been a bug, the radio seems to be a bit finicky. There are some animation tells that they're about to be evil, but we could have definitely made it clearer. Thanks for the feedback!
First they were so disgusting, but after a while, I love them XD. I think, there could be more clues, that they are starting to escape, because sometimes, there was just small animation, and they were gone. But otherwise good job.
You've added a lot of mechanic features, congratulations. I had a lot of fun playing it. Great job.
Wild game. Had me running around spraying and feeding and stealing toys from these dudes. Played it on stream today!
Yup, of course a homunculus expert like myself would get 879 points, the most points you can even get in 15 minutes, as it goes. Simple to a homunculus DEMON such as myself. child's play even
First off, this game is sick as hell. Tonally it hits the mark wonderfully, although the same grunts over and over again do get a little taxing. The graphics are clean and fun and lit in a way that evokes strong emotions without lagging my computer (it actually does but more on that momentarily)
Gameplay-wise, I'm really shocked to say that this is not only fun, but well-balanced and engaging, in a way that adds to the atmosphere. The controls are responsive, the telekenesis works well as a supplementary mechanic (most of the time, sometimes I would go flying myself which was a little weird but it's ok that didn't happen often), and the numbers are fine tuned in a way that gets overwhelming at just the right points. I will say I never had to deal with my rubik's cubes being solved because as it turns out homunculi are really bad at puzzles, but it's ok because they are my babies all the same.
I'm not sure what was going on in the technical side, but as it went on, the game got laggier and laggier, I'm not sure if it was just me having more homunculi (I think I had like 5? by the end maybe 6) but the audio was stuttering, the game was moving at a crawl, and I was struggling to move in that last 30 seconds lmao, not sure what was up with that but overall I think this is my favorite game in the jam so far! very well thought out pet management sim with a cruel but fun tone, and an astonishingly clear vision. Amazing work!
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed, and sorry about the technical issues. We'll do what we can to make it better!
Very cool game! I love the style of the models the homonculus incubator looks awesome.
My homonculi kept escaping though but I known how cutthroat the Homonculi industry can get it's a tough business...
Homonculusmania really took over this jam I think you should check out our game you might also enjoy it! ;)
Fun little management game, and you really can't leave them alone too long!
I've always wanted my own homunculus farm. Fun visuals and gameplay loop. Enjoyed the fun names your homuncs can have. Sad to see them go at the end of the round :(
This is very nice ! Really polished and high quality for a week :)
Yeah, your game has that little weird touch I really love. The game's economy is really good, and, I don't know why, it reminded me of the "Chaos Garden" from *Sonic Adventure 2: Battle*! Thanks for the game.
Very stressful keeping lil guys clean, happy, and satisfied. Good job, fun game :)
the homunculi look funny and the game is pretty fun
Insane quality for a weeks work. Nice!
I was very sceptical about the game because of the picture and the title. But the game actually feels very clean!
Fun idea! It felt very well made and I could tell a lot of work was put into it. Great job!
Really fun idea. The Homuculs's were really cool and well animated.
