Ranked from 14 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
the player cannot trust first impressions—or even their own perception. The FAST tape makes everyone appear hostile, while the SLOW tape reveals hidden voices and alternative paths. By switching frequencies, players must uncover the truth and decide whether every target really deserves a bullet.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most of the game-specific code and assets were created during the jam.
We used or adapted the following third-party resources:

- DOTween for for animation and visual feedback.
- Fusion Pixel Font by TakWolf, licensed under SIL OFL 1.1.
- NANCE’s character sprite was adapted from Warped Caves by ansimuz, licensed under CC0.
- Agent tool and MCP for Unity were used for AI-assisted programming, debugging, and scene assembly.

Very nice visuals. Please add an option to lower the volume :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!! Glad you liked the visuals :) And yeah, we definitely should’ve added a volume control in a rhythm game haha.

The game looks really cool and flashy, and the shooting feels very satisfying! I just wasn’t quite sure how it connects to the jam theme.

Developer

Thanks for playing! So we interpreted the “trust” through whether someone appears to be an enemy or not, like being “in sync” doesn’t necessarily mean someone is trustworthy.. It'll become clearer on a second playthrough, where some enemies you killed on sight may never have been hostile at all haha.

Was way more efficient to spam left click than tap to the beat. Plus tapping to the beat rarely worked. It could be due to latency but it always missed by a lot. Even when the rifle shot, it was delayed a lot from when i actually clicked.

Loved the style of the game and the music tho, holy.... And the little jump boost you get with shooting!

Developer

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback!! The rhythm timing being off could be because the latency calibration at the beginning didn’t reflect correctly, or we may have made the timing window too strict. We also really wish we’d had more time to polish the timing and expand the levels further TT

Thanks a lot!!

Love the beginning! It was quite cool to do shooting in rhythm the game.

I will suggested that I feel that it was a bit short, and thought it was like a trainning before the level.  I think you should definitely develop more on the gameplay you did! Will be very hype to play it if you guys continue!

But other than that, great job!! The music was epic!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing!! Really glad you enjoyed the opening and the rhythm mechanics~~ And yeah we definitely had more ideas we wanted to explore with the theme, so we’d love to expand on it if we get the chance. Appreciate the encouraging words.

I loooove a good rhythm game genre mix! This is great, though only slightly frustrating to time my shots I found but maybe that’s a skill issue. Everything else feels really nice and polished ^^

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much!! Glad you enjoyed the rhythm + shooter mix! And sorry about the skill issue we probably could’ve made the timing window a little more forgiving.. Really appreciate the feedback :)

It looks really cool; I like the main character and the entire style of the game. Rate my 2d shooter too

Developer

Thanks for playing! Your shooter game was great :)

Very unique game. The music was nice and it felt complete. I liked the wake up call at the begging too lol. I wish there were more camera shake and that the laser would glow a little. Very nice game tho!

Developer

Thank you so much!! Glad you liked the wake-up call haha. Getting that right was actually part of the process too like we had to tune the rhythm delay for different devices. And thanks for the feedback on the camera shake and laser vfx!! We also wish we’d had more time to polish the visuals!

Could you also rate my game?

Developer

The mechanics feel really complete, and the gameplay is very well-paced—I didn’t even realize I had already reached the end! It actually reminded me a bit of Disco Elysium.

Developer

Thanks very much for playing :)

Really clean game, very surprised to see no comments here ! I loved the game idea, I believe a rythmic shooter is a very efficient way to put the player in the flow state ! I found the game a bit hard to understand at first but I loved the musics and the visuals, well done !
