Amazing work in such a short time! Great art design and story. I had a lot of fun playing it, keep going!

Really cool vibe and art style! I haven't played a point n click in a while that was a cool unique experience. The Pixel art seriously good!

I'm a little dumb, but I find so creative the "6 buttons options on various rooms" concept that I can say that the game is original and good just for it.

I loved the characters and the ambience.

Cool game, congrats!!!

Very nice to see another entry on an adventurer/point'n'click style! Very well done ^^ Loved the palette choice, matches the vibe perfectly

Really cool game! Pixel art is very nicely done, and the audio is great! Gameplay feels nice and smooth, and puzzles were fun to do! I did use Enter instead of Z for interacting with things for a while, which did lead to me getting stuck on several occasions, but I did eventually figure it out lol

In the end I got to the cave where the color palette takes on a purplish hue, though I was a bit stumped as to what to do afterwards, as I couldn't figure out what really I had to do with the statue and Pearl of Wisdom nor did I really understand what the extra sprites at the blackjack screen meant. Could I get a hint on that perhaps? Would love to try again! Also I would discourage the use of mixels, as they oftentimes can make games look a bit disproportionate; it's fully your choice though of course ^^

Very nice job, especially as a solo dev! Keep it up :D

Also I like how there's an amogus in like 90 percent of the screens XD

Going by the comments, you are the first person who has gotten that far AND the first person to notice the amonguses. Congrats!

You were only one step from beating the game! Hint: what do pirates usually do when they find an X?

Tried again and got to the end, thanks for the tip :D

also not having to start all over again is really nice

as everyone has said, the art is lovely. i got a little stuck at first lol but then i realized i hadn't explored a region yet. i thought that i had explored every scene but i was missing the log scene the entire time lol T_T once i got that it was smooth sailing. perhaps this is a me thing and therefore a selfish ask but maybe the directional arrows could indicate unexplored territory (i guess a color change for the arrow or an animation or something). overall i had fun and you got me to jump at a scare so i hope you are pleased.

Never has a game humbled me so badly for not understanding how to play blackjack haha. Love the vibe of this, an adventure game in a weird world that you just have explore and discover is a favourite of mine. The sprite work is very wibbly and also clean. How you used dark values to create an atmosphere is very impressive.

Fisherman Clive: "Jofi yunt fifi"
Me: I know that's right!

I really enjoyed this. Even as a very dumb guy I was able to figure a bunch of stuff out. It really made me smile that you could use the existing verbs for blackjack. Nice art and a nice vibe.

Awesome artwork!

The art is AMAZING! Amazing job at creating such an atmosphere with so few colors. Its rare to see adventure games in jams, and this game is giving me the itch to create one myself as well. Again, great job.

I really liked the art, and especially the sound and music. Great work on the presentation!

I wasn't able to finish it, though. I found it a little hard to understand what I was supposed to do, so maybe a few clearer hints or visual cues would help guide the player. After a few attempts I got a bit lost and eventually stopped playing.

I'm thrilled to see another adventure game in the jam! This one reminded me of Shadowgate on the Gameboy Color. The art, music, and writing are all top notch. I'm afraid I also got stuck on the fishing game, but I'll be coming back to this one!

I loved the art style of this game, and the narrations are pretty entertaining. The vibes are immaculate, and the mysteries are pretty interesting. I forgot the controls for the fishing, and I didn't know how to read them again, so I'm pretty sure I got stuck. I also wasted the shovel to grabbing sand. Really cool game!

A lot of work put into art, good job

Amazing Art. The actually game looks 200 times better than the title.

Yeah that ended up falling through the cracks… Thanks for giving it a chance despite the first impression lol

This was really charming. It took some getting used to the controls, but once I did, I enjoyed exploring the small world. I didn't manage to catch a fish, was that what I needed to progress? I wouldn't mind playing a blackjack minigame.

Most people seem to have a problem with the fishing. Something about how I designed it is just not right… Basically you hold UP or DOWN to sink the hook. When a fish is nibbling, wait until the screen flashes (the fish bites) and then press UP at that instant.
