I guess the moust important parts of jams is learning and making something that work enough to be fun, cool or interesting to build upon, not necesaraly perfect in any way. I am alsow almoust completely new to level design and my aproach is prety much just tring out random ideeas undit it feels right and tweking along the way, alos i am also no artist so i just try to draw simple stuff just by preaty much tring a bunch of ways to mix the pixels untill it looks passable and from what i know the moust importan parts of art in games is moustly about the artsyle beeing cosnsistent and readable not necesaraly beautifull. I alsow ending up sushing some of stuff in my game even if i had a lot of time to work on it and went for something i knew i could vauguely do. I like thinking about games and giving feedback and i alsow had fun playing your game!

Ok now a lot of the design chicees make a lot more sence, i guess i just didn't play theat far in to the game, just the first level and got like 1000 score. And also probably keeping the scope lower and not adding anything big last minute was the right call. Also if thear were upgrades, the intial capabilitees of the cloud should probaby be lower as you can allready do preaty much whatever you need quite fast and easaly. Alsow alsow maybe making the ubgreades need something you explore the map to find like rare cloud types could be great to put the whole game world to use or maybe adding wildfires theat get out of control if you don't deal with them. The game defenetly has a good base i just kind of think it needs more chaos with what happesn to be more interesting, it might just be me not beeing a big fan of just going for high scores though.
The realistic movement was interesting after i got the hang of it and the engines of the ship changing when entering a zone with gravity field is a really nice touch, the graphics are preatty good exept for the asteroids not beein pixel-art compared to the rest of the assets and also the sprites were preatty blured for me it may have been an problem with rendering in the project not beeing set to nearest as the default options of godod blur pixel sprites or it may have been something else. It's quite a bold and out thear movement sistem with the objects thet actualy pull on the ship it was defenetly unique and engaiging to get a handle on it even if a lot of the stuff theat was implemented wasen't used too much, also impresive theat the phisics were smoth and i didn't run into any bugs or crashes with it.
Had fun with this for a bit, it would have been cool if diffrent items gave difreant scores and especialy juking the gnomes as it would incurage risking going for them at eveary oportunity. The art and polish are great as well as the audio as well as the veery large array of seting even if i didn't mess with them at all, Quite stable never crashed and no game breaking bugs as well as almoust no jank, did 2 runs one i managed to reach the end and the second time I lost but got significantly more score by mashing j and keeping to the left border of the screen, only real bug is theat after wining you can still control the caracter wile writing your name for the leaderboard but it dosen't realy break anything. It's fun for a bit but kind of easy as spaming the slide makes you not get hit for a wile it and the cooldown before doing another is verry smal, it would work better if it had a drawback like a small period whear you start to lose ground to the gnomes and can't manuver.
This in quite a unique and original take on the theme ! I the game feels rely polished and good looking with the papers plese inspiration as well as for me having zero bugs or crashes albeeit i only got to asociate rank + 100 exp. Its cool theat thear are a couple types of evidence but the problem is theat moust of it is kind of dry, like the recieeps only have a single type of items like weapons, food or vehicles and usualy i am just looking at the name of the person and if any keywords from the lawbook show up and then after chosing a charge puting anything theat remotely may corelate a bit with the crime in, also i never got the importance of time on evidence, and evidence in a folder sould probably show it's efects on the case chances as you can just individualy add and remove all the pices to see if they increase or decrease the chances, i thik it would have been beter if you could permanently dicard usless evidence for more random evidence with a cap instead of going to the next day . Also it would have been cool to be able to maybe ask a couple questions to the suspects through a text box with a couple options. I think the game would work a lot beter if each case was hand crafted and ther were no rng just minimum evidence requrements, of course this would defenetly fall ouside of the scope of a game theat can probably be made in a jam. Overall the game is polished looks realy sharp, it feels good and plays well it just gets kind of dull after a bit, also a simple monotone track would have made the atmosphere even better as the sfx are allready crunchi and satisfing.
Had fun for a bit the atmospher and the music are good but it kind of got kind of repetitive especialy as the firs level was verry long with no timer even if the season chainging gave a rough ideea of how far allong the level was and looked good, the fact theat ther is a large map and a zoom out mode is cool but it's kind of usless as having only one tractor means that you have to rely micromanage it's chrage and ther is litle point in focusing on any field other a large one that is close to the farm. Also the colision on some of the border wals is a bit off and ther are no cloud sfx if you are zomed out but this may be intentional. Also the lightning and watter are hard to really aim, like the litighting fires if ther are mandreakes nearby on them but it dosen't do anyithing, also something to use the cash like buying more tractors would make a lot of the game mesh toghether better. Overall the ideea is great and original and the game is stable, i never got any bugs or crashes, and the artsyle is coherent as well as the music beeing perfect for the feel, sorry if i nitpicked too much.
Glad you enjoyed, i did my best to make it intuitive as i didn't plan to add a tutorial, unfortunetly i didn't rely consider hinting to players that sliding can be interuptued as for moust of development movement was one square at a time, the semi sliding was a kind of last moment addition to make traversing the game less tedious and to tie a bit more with the jam theme.
Thear is a lot of cute cats, i aprove. The game is is really easy once you know the optimum peting spots and relise how eficient max charges are it took about 5 atempts to beat hard mode but once you start to give scritches all the way you can win hard mode with the first 3 cats. Great game, cozy and well drawn.
The game is increadably well made! The core concept is verry well executed it's verry sharp looking and has a lot of levels that are well desing and thear are a lot of maechanics introduced well and gradualy also the tutorial is good at giving the first pointers, the only thing could see be beter is the baterys showing how fast they dicharge in a way but it's an incredebly minor thing. Also the way the carge forms a beat when going threugh blocks and the tnt sounding kind of like precusion is simply amaizing.
Thank you for playing!Originaly the batery guy would oly move one tile at a time but i though it too way too much button-mashing so i chnged it to this semy sliding way but making it so theat cahnging direction costs energy would work. Also the recharge tile are a great idee i am defenetly writing recomandations down for a V2 dx version if i get around to it. And yhea the game is easy curently the timers were a bit stricter but I decided to extend them to make up for the fact people would have to figure out the game by themselfes and i din t want it to be frustraiting. I am always greatfull for feedback and thank you for cheking my first game out !
I realy like the cartoony chiken-scratchie art style and the computer screen art is rad, the fact that ther is an setting and story is cool and the atmospheer is nailed realy well the only real bad looking thing are the default ui skins of the godot ui elements, it would have been great if the art for the room would have been split and had y-sorting enable so theat the player would not be over object when they sould be behind them but it's not a big deal , the ideeas for the puzles are not bad it's just kind of annoying to have to keep going to the computer screen to see what you have too keep cheainging and it takes a second for it to close, 2 of the levers got stuck when i first tried the game and pulled the all the way down, also the pipe presure indicators would be beter if the squares were green when they were lowering the pressure and red when they increase the pressure, it would have better if the status screen on the computer only told you what puzels are ok and the detailed breakdown of what is wrong would have been in the puzle interface to be able to figure it out on the go, also a if a puzle would have put you on a timer to keep it in check or lose it would realy have helped to keep the pressure, i did the first set of puzzels and it let me go thru multiple days and then eventualy when it reset and had to do a new set it didn't let me go to the next day even after i got them all on ok again. Overall the game was cool and it didn't crash or bug out exept for the softlock? and the levers.
Originally i had the time limits be shorter but worried that the game would be confusing allready with no tutorial despite trying to moustly explain the mechnics with color coding, the game page description and the first 2 levels beeing simple, toghether with a simple control scheem. And an actual way to lose other then runing out of time would deffinetly improve the game as there is lite impact to restarting other then having to redo the route you just did 30s ago. Thank you for the feedback!
I never thought of particles just considered animations but gave up as i am not really that good at it, i will definetly try to learn about them before my next jam. I am glad also that you liked the music and sfx, as i don't have a lot of composing experience and was worried the sounds effects were spamed too much and that the music was annoyng .
It's simple to get in to looks good and works, kind of boring after a bit as there isn't a lot of choice in terms of leveling up or difrences between fighters, the fighter ui should probaly be limited to 1 on screen at a time and the yellow dot that indicates a fighter has points to spare is put over the fighter ui obscuring a bit it. I didn't run into any crashes or bugs other then the game refusing to restart after my second run, i played 3 times till getting team wiped.
Accelerating wile moving is fun the arstyle is choesive and the movement feels smoth and the partical effects are great , i think it would have been a little better if the players initial speed was a but higher, also i think beeing able to use a lot of your carge for a shield/life up would have made the charge mechanic more impactfull and reduce the number of times sections have to be repeteat, also jumping would have been a lot better if jump height was linked to how long you press the imput key , also geting your charge repleneshed when dying, also the spike colision should be a bit bigger i landed between two. Overall the game works well and never crashed, i ran out of time in the 4th level.
The game graphically looks good if a bit disjointed, gathering gems killing slimes and going down levels works but it's kind of boring after a bit, the head of the drill poping when eaten by a slime off and turning in to a flame thrower is really cool, i had a bug wher a slime got right above me and kept tring to go down toward me so i could't go up and when i went down i eventualy got stuck on the lower edge of the cave
The game fits with the theme and the way docking and going in difrent building is cool and the car drives quite nicely, but diffrent the parts of the game don t realy mash toghether like the fog of war in the buildings seems kind of pointless and the car is kind of oversized on the inside, i haven't hand any major ishews howeve the only real bug i see is 2 buildings spawning inside eachother in the outside perspective and the lightning was kind of annoying
While the game is in a quite unpolished state the core gameplay loop is in, it s great that it has a actual tutorias as i woulden't heve finished the game or found out how the minions function, also it's fun and not often that you get to play as a actual necromancer with a horde of undead. The graphics movement and some of the ui could use some work though as well as the game beeing a bit shorter as it got kind of boring with ther beeing 10 creanes and the portal, finished the main game but didn t go on to endless
Man this is genually fun, keeping the ritehem of doing tricks juping and doging is just enough to keep my atentio, it s just theat the camera kind of starts to zone out as speed increases to the point the grphics start to lose resolution and a type of flying obstical would have added a lot. the game is fun and just the right kind of silly, aloust got 3000 points
