That is a little game jam masterpiece. Beautiful, enjoyable, poetic... This is a great offer you're doing here. Thanks a lot. I haven't completely understood how you validate a level, it felt a bit random how I go to the next level. Is there a walkthrough available?

Developer

Thanks a lot! The button press checks 2 things: whether the core gear is turning in the right direction, and its speed (which you can also check on the meter: the needle has to be between the green mark (minimum speed required) and the red zone (too fast)). No walkthrough for now, but we plan on making some post-jam improvements and will definitely make all this clearer! Thanks for the feedback

This is really good! Simple at first but quite challenging puzzles (at least for me), the hand drawn art was so worth it and I like the little FX. Dialogs and context felt very charming too. Well done everyone on the team!

Phenomenal art work with a really creative setting! I had trouble with some of the puzzles but enjoyed it none the less!

Great art, good music and an interesting game concept, I fail to see how it exactly fits the theme however and some of the puzzles felt a bit confusing (might be a skill issue on my end)

Thanks for playing!

The implementation of the theme in our game is more thematic. (pun not intended)

The Hearts are mechanical contraptions that keep ticking down. In the story you are fixing hearts of people, furthering the countdown to their heart stopping forever.

Extremely good and beautiful game! Looks like something I would buy on Steam if I saw it. Great job!

Extremely good, though probably shouldn't have played this one right after waking up, my brain got stuck haha.
I don't understand how you can create something this polished in only 4 days, good job everyone!

The art, music, narrative, and creativity (especially with respect to the jam theme) are first rate. Send me a link to the Steam release, please.

Wow, this game is incredible. The art style is actually impressive for a game jam, I dont understand how you can pump that out in a few days. The puzzles were very engaging, and I got stuck on one for a while. If I had to give some criticism, I'd say the different layers of gears are hard to distinguish, since they look alike. It would be helpful to make their colors slightly more different. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! It was a challenge making it all hand drawn but well worth it :) Yes we want to improve on some of that after the jam, hopefully it’ll be more readable!

I really love the art, feels really polished!

i really enjoyed this

Wow, this was awesome! I loved the art and the sound design. I also liked the more unique take on the theme (unfortunate that the theme wasn't "spin to win" but I still think it was a good fit regardless). The puzzles were fair and challenging enough to be rewarding without being frustrating.

Well, for the most part. I almost broke my keyboard after getting stuck on this particular level for about an hour. But when I figured it out, I felt like an idiot, so I think it was more of a skill issue than anything wrong with the level itself.

Developer

While playtesting I got stuck on that same level, I know the feeling haha

Thank you :D

I love the clockwork art and theme. Terrific!

The traditional hand drawn artwork is stunning and solving gear puzzles to reset mechanical hearts makes for such a heartwarming experience!

Super great theming with great aesthetics. Also a fantastic feat of programming. Fantastic puzzles and concept. Seriously well done all around, no notes!

Really solid game!

To tackle a puzzle in 4 days isnt easy, but to do it in style is a whole another thing, well done!

This game is beautiful, but I'm honestly not quite sure why things do or don't work. I really like it though.

best sound , feel and animation hands down LOVE THE FREAKING CONCEPT my first 5/5 !!

Beautifully drawn game, the puzzles were very fun to solve and think about how the gear reductions work! Somewhat struggled to see how the game relates to the theme but perhaps thats just because i wasnt paying too much attention to the dialogue.

Oooh I love me a good cog puzzle game, and this one definitely fits the good description. I would love to get some more insight on some of the characters, cause I felt they were lacking some personality, but that doesn't take away from the beautiful game!
